- • Moxie Software Inc. is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Migrations Manager to join our growing, remote-first team. In this pivotal role, you will be instrumental in orchestrating the seamless transition of client data and Electronic Medical Records (EMR) from their existing systems into the Moxie platform. Your primary objective is to ensure that every client's migration process, from the initial kickoff to the final launch, is executed with precision, efficiency, and confidence, enabling them to begin utilizing Moxie's powerful tools without interruption.
- • As the Migrations Manager, you will serve as the central point of contact and the driving force behind one of the most critical phases of the client journey. When a new client, typically a nurse or medical provider, partners with Moxie, they are often migrating from a legacy EMR system or a different operational setup. Your expertise will guide them through this complex transition, ensuring that all patient data, essential records, and established workflows are accurately transferred and integrated into Moxie. The success of this role hinges on meticulous planning, proactive communication, and a deep understanding of the technical and operational aspects of data migration.
- • You will be the quarterback of this crucial transition, meticulously coordinating timelines, managing internal cross-functional teams, and providing clear guidance to the provider throughout the entire process. The ultimate goal is to ensure their launch on the Moxie platform is not just successful, but also characterized by confidence, accuracy, and absolute clarity. This role demands a proactive approach, anticipating potential challenges and implementing solutions before they impact the client's experience.
- • Key responsibilities include owning multiple client data and EMR migrations concurrently, driving each project from its initial kickoff meeting through to successful go-live. You will be accountable for delivering on-time, high-quality launches while minimizing escalations and ensuring client satisfaction at every step. This involves setting clear expectations from the outset, leading comprehensive kickoff calls, meticulously defining project timelines and scope, and providing consistent, proactive updates to all stakeholders.
- • A significant part of your role will involve building and managing detailed migration project plans. This includes rigorously tracking dependencies, identifying potential risks, and proactively removing blockers that could impede progress. You will collaborate closely with internal teams, including Product, Engineering, Customer Experience (CX), and Compliance, to guarantee accurate data transfer, facilitate smooth handoffs between departments, and ensure robust launch readiness. Your ability to anticipate and escalate risks early—whether concerning data quality, timeline adherence, scope creep, or system limitations—and drive swift, clear resolutions will be paramount.
- • Quality assurance is a critical component of this role. You will oversee the thorough validation of all migration outputs, ensuring data accuracy, completeness, and readiness for the client's operational use. Beyond managing individual projects, you will play a vital role in improving and scaling our migration operations. This includes refining existing documentation, standardizing templates, enhancing tracking systems, and optimizing QA processes to reduce cycle times and minimize friction as our client base and migration volume continue to grow.
- • Furthermore, you will contribute to the development of a more scalable and robust migration playbook. This initiative aims to increase visibility, predictability, and consistency across all client launches, establishing best practices that can be applied universally. Your insights and experience will be invaluable in shaping the future of Moxie's client onboarding and migration processes, directly impacting our ability to scale effectively and maintain high standards of service.
- • This role is based in the U.S. and requires travel approximately twice per month to support key clients or strategic initiatives, ensuring a hands-on approach when necessary. The ideal candidate will demonstrate end-to-end ownership, a talent for bringing structure to complex projects, exceptional client communication skills, and the ability to collaborate effectively across diverse teams, even without direct authority. Experience in SaaS, particularly within the healthcare or EMR space, is highly desirable. You will be comfortable managing multiple projects simultaneously, working with data validation processes, and contributing to a culture of continuous improvement and client success.
🎯 Requirements
- • 3+ years of experience in project management, implementation, onboarding, or client operations, with a strong preference for SaaS experience.
- • Proven ability to own and manage complex, multi-step projects from kickoff through go-live, demonstrating accountability for outcomes.
- • Experience in coordinating cross-functional teams (e.g., Product, Engineering, Operations, Customer Success) to achieve project milestones, preferably without direct managerial authority.
- • Excellent client-facing communication skills, with the ability to explain complex technical topics clearly, set expectations, and manage difficult conversations.
- • Experience with data validation processes and quality assurance workflows, comfortable using tools like spreadsheets to ensure accuracy and completeness.
- • Healthcare tech or regulated environment experience, with familiarity with EMR systems or healthcare operations, is strongly preferred.
- • Ability to manage multiple client projects simultaneously, balancing competing timelines and priorities effectively.
- • Based in EST or CST time zones is preferred.
