- • Manage all aspects of DDC (Direct Digital Controls) controls projects, including scope definition, project planning, resource allocation, scheduling, budgeting, and risk management.
- • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders such as engineers, technicians, contractors, and clients to gather requirements, assess project needs, and ensure alignment of project goals and objectives.
- • Demonstrate strong technical expertise in DDC controls systems, building automation technologies, and industry best practices, providing guidance and support throughout the project lifecycle.
- • Work closely with engineering teams to review design documents, ensure compliance with specifications, and offer expertise in DDC controls integration and programming.
- • Coordinate with procurement teams to source and procure necessary equipment, components, and software, while managing relationships with vendors and subcontractors to ensure timely delivery and adherence to project requirements.
- • Develop and implement quality assurance processes to ensure DDC controls systems meet industry standards, regulatory requirements, and client expectations.
- • Create and maintain accurate project documentation, including project plans, schedules, progress reports, change orders, and as-built drawings.
- • Oversee the commissioning and testing of DDC controls systems to ensure functionality, efficiency, and performance, conducting system walkthroughs and providing technical support during startup and handover phases.
- • Lead project teams by providing clear direction, setting performance goals, and fostering a collaborative and productive work environment; mentor and coach team members to enhance technical skills and professional development.
- • Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in DDC controls systems, recommending process improvements and innovative solutions to enhance project delivery and customer satisfaction.
🎯 Requirements
- • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field (equivalent work experience accepted)
- • Proven experience (5+ years) in project management, preferably in DDC controls systems or building automation
- • Strong knowledge of DDC controls systems, including programming languages such as BACnet, LonWorks, or Modbus, and integration with HVAC, lighting, and other building systems
- • Proficient in project management methodologies and tools
- • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with ability to collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders
- • Demonstrated leadership capabilities to lead and motivate cross-functional teams
