- • Perform all aspects of premium dog grooming including bathing, cutting, shaving, and trimming with meticulous attention to detail for each dog.
- • Manage a daily schedule of 3–6 dogs per day to ensure each pet receives dedicated, stress-free, one-on-one care.
- • Operate independently within state-of-the-art Hanvey mobile grooming vans equipped with professional grooming tools and safety equipment.
- • Walk dogs prior to appointments to ensure calmness and safety during grooming sessions.
- • Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitized grooming van environment before, during, and after each appointment.
- • Safely lift and handle dogs up to 50 lbs unassisted, and guide or maneuver dogs up to 100 lbs using van-mounted equipment such as lifts and grooming tables.
- • Interact professionally and warmly with pet parents during drop-off and pick-up, providing clear communication about grooming services and pet behavior.
- • Use provided smartphones to access scheduling tools, client information, and communication platforms.
- • Select from available shift types to align with personal schedule preferences while maintaining consistent service coverage.
- • Participate in comprehensive onboarding including training and ride-alongs during Launch Week to ensure readiness for independent service.
- • Contribute to community outreach by participating in Company-sponsored Community Days that provide low-stress grooming services to local animal shelters and rescues.
- • Benefit from dedicated scheduling assistance and logistical support from concierge and fleet teams who handle van maintenance, route optimization, and administrative tasks.
- • Focus exclusively on grooming excellence, as Barkbus handles all sales, marketing, client acquisition, and customer service operations.

- • Maintain compliance with all safety protocols and hygiene standards to ensure the health and well-being of both pets and groomers.
🎯 Requirements
- • 1+ years of professional dog grooming experience
- • Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
- • Ability to safely lift and handle dogs up to 50 lbs unassisted
- • Ability to safely guide or maneuver dogs up to 100 lbs using van equipment (e.g., lift, grooming table)
- • Comfortable interacting with customers/pet parents
- • Comfortable using smartphones (device provided)
