• • We are seeking a highly versatile and skilled Mobile Software Engineer to join our dynamic mobile team. This pivotal role operates at the exciting intersection of native mobile development and web technologies, with a primary focus on delivering an exceptional and seamless hybrid user experience. You will be instrumental in enhancing our mobile application, which leverages a WebView to integrate significant portions of our web platform, connected via a lightweight bridge to native functionalities.
• • Your responsibilities will span both the native and web components of our mobile application. You will be tasked with refining the in-app user experience, optimizing critical mobile web flows for performance and usability, and integrating essential native features such as push notifications, biometric authentication, and other device-specific capabilities. This role demands a deep understanding of how to bridge the gap between web and native environments to create a cohesive and powerful mobile product.
• • You will play a key role in the development and enhancement of both our React Native application and our underlying React web platform. Your contributions will directly impact the functionality, UI/UX, and overall maintainability of our mobile offering. A strong emphasis will be placed on technical ownership, where you will be empowered to drive initiatives, make critical decisions, and ensure the successful delivery of features from conception to deployment.
• • Collaboration is at the heart of our mobile team. You will work closely with product managers to translate business requirements into technical solutions, and with UI/UX designers to ensure our application is not only functional but also intuitive and visually appealing. You will also collaborate extensively with the broader frontend team to ensure seamless integration with our robust web services and APIs, maintaining consistency across platforms.
• • A core aspect of this role involves taking ownership of features and projects, driving them forward across different teams and disciplines. You will be expected to proactively identify areas for improvement, propose solutions, and lead their implementation. This includes ensuring the efficient implementation and maintenance of state management solutions, crucial for managing complex data flows within our mobile applications.
• • You will also be responsible for ensuring the smooth and efficient integration of our mobile applications with our server-side infrastructure, particularly our Node.js backend. This requires a solid understanding of API interactions and data synchronization.
