đź“‹ Description
- • As a Mobile Engineer at Novellia, you will be instrumental in shaping the primary patient-facing application that empowers millions of individuals to access, understand, and act on their comprehensive longitudinal health data—transforming how patients engage with their medical histories and enabling life-changing insights for biopharma innovation.
- • You will own and evolve a high-impact React Native application serving both iOS and Android platforms, directly contributing to a mission-driven product that provides free, secure, and instant access to nearly a decade of personal health records, positioning Novellia as a pioneer in patient-powered real-world data.
- • Day to day, you will build intuitive, performant, and accessible UI components that simplify complex health data for patients, ensuring seamless interactions across devices while maintaining pixel-perfect fidelity to design specifications and accessibility standards.
- • You will collaborate closely with backend, design, and web frontend teams to integrate GraphQL APIs and real-time data streams, enabling up-to-date, responsive health records that support clinical decision-making and patient engagement.
- • You will take full ownership of end-to-end feature development—from concept and prototyping through deployment, monitoring, and iterative improvement—ensuring reliability, security, and scalability in a regulated healthcare environment.
- • You will implement and advocate for mobile performance optimization techniques, including memory management, offline support, and efficient rendering, while integrating observability tools like crash reporting and analytics to drive data-informed iterations.
- • You will work with product owners to translate clinical and user requirements into secure, accessible mobile experiences, applying best practices in biometric authentication, secure storage, and healthcare UX to protect sensitive patient information.
- • You will stay current with evolving React Native ecosystem trends, native module bridging techniques (Swift/Kotlin), and platform-specific iOS/Android behaviors to maintain a robust, maintainable cross-platform codebase.
- • You will contribute to CI/CD pipelines and app store release processes, ensuring smooth, compliant deployments to both Apple App Store and Google Play Store while maintaining high release velocity and quality.
- • You will join a fast-growing, mission-aligned engineering team backed by top-tier investors (Spark Capital, Khosla Ventures, Bling Capital) and collaborating with leading research institutions (ASCO, SABCS/AACR), where your work directly impacts published scientific research and regulatory submissions.
- • In this role, you will deepen your expertise in healthcare-focused mobile development, gain exposure to FHIR and interoperability standards, and grow as a technical leader in a startup environment that values ownership, initiative, and innovation—positioning you at the forefront of patient-centered health technology.
