📋 Description

• As a Mobile Engineer at Bitstack Technologies SAS, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of financial technology by building and refining the mobile application that empowers over 300,000 users to save, spend, and grow their money in a secure, inclusive, and open financial system. Your work will directly contribute to democratizing access to Bitcoin and broader crypto-native financial services across Europe.
• You will collaborate closely with a fast-moving, ambitious engineering and product team to design, develop, test, and deploy high-quality mobile experiences that are not only performant and scalable but also deeply aligned with Bitstack’s mission of financial empowerment and user-centric innovation.
• Day to day, you will collaborate with engineers, product managers, and designers to translate product requirements into robust, well-architected mobile features using Flutter and Dart, ensuring seamless integration with backend services built in Go and Python.
• You will drive new initiatives by challenging assumptions, proposing improvements, and taking ownership of end-to-end feature delivery — from scoping and design through implementation, testing, and production monitoring.
• You will build and maintain a highly tested, performant, and secure mobile application, writing comprehensive unit and integration tests to ensure reliability and compliance with financial industry standards.
• You will breathe life into industry-leading user interfaces by implementing polished, accessible, and responsive designs that enhance user trust and engagement across iOS and Android platforms.
• You will ship high-quality, scalable, and reliable products daily in a production environment, adhering to strict engineering practices that prioritize security, efficiency, and maintainability.
• You will work within a highly regulated, compliant environment, contributing to Bitstack’s adherence to financial and data protection standards while actively participating in the broader Bitcoin and open-source ecosystems.
• You will contribute to open-source projects and internal tech communities, sharing knowledge, improving tooling, and helping elevate the team’s engineering culture.
• You will join a small but impactful team backed by Y Combinator and leading European VCs, where your contributions are visible, valued, and instrumental in shaping both the product and the company’s evolving culture.

• You will achieve mastery in Flutter-based cross-platform development, deepen your understanding of mobile application lifecycles, and gain hands-on experience in building secure, compliant fintech applications at scale.

🎯 Requirements

• Proven experience scoping, designing, delivering, and supporting end-to-end mobile projects using Flutter or similar frameworks, with a strong emphasis on complex state management and security.
• Solid understanding of software development lifecycles, mobile application lifecycles, and integration testing frameworks specific to Flutter or React Native.
• Deep proficiency in Git workflows, automation, and CI/CD practices, coupled with exceptional analytical reasoning, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Fluency in English (French is a bonus) and the ability to self-manage, take ownership, and thrive in a fast-paced, autonomous environment.
