📋 Description

• As a Mobile Software Engineer in Test at Devsavant LLC, you will play a pivotal role in transforming traditional quality assurance into an intelligent, AI-driven Pipeline Assurance system. This role is critical to enabling high-velocity, reliable software releases by reducing reliance on manual testing and embedding quality confidence directly into the development lifecycle. You will be at the forefront of innovation, using LLMs and AI to anticipate risks, automate feedback, and empower developers to ship with confidence.
• Your work will directly impact product stability and team efficiency, ensuring that as development speed increases, quality does not degrade — making you a key enabler of Devsavant’s mission to deliver excellence through technology and people-first engineering.
• Day to day, you will design and implement AI-powered assurance pipelines that analyze pull requests, detect quality patterns, and trigger intelligent feedback loops without heavy manual oversight.
• You will collaborate closely with mobile developers (iOS/Android) as their internal quality partner, understanding their workflows and pain points to tailor assurance strategies that integrate seamlessly into their development process.
• You will create and maintain automated testing frameworks using Swift and mobile-specific tools, ensuring tests are reliable, fast, and aligned with CI/CD pipelines to support rapid iteration.
• You will act as a technical evangelist, translating complex AI-driven quality concepts into actionable practices for the team through workshops, documentation, and mentorship, fostering a culture of shared ownership over quality.
• You will continuously evaluate and refine assurance strategies using metrics and developer feedback, optimizing for both speed and reliability while advocating for proactive quality over reactive bug fixing.
• You will maintain a mobile-first perspective, ensuring that assurance strategies account for platform-specific behaviors, performance constraints, and user experience factors across iOS and Android ecosystems.
• You will contribute to knowledge sharing by documenting best practices, creating runbooks, and leading sessions on AI-assisted testing, helping elevate the entire engineering team’s maturity in quality engineering.
• You will work in a fully remote, flexible environment aligned with Pacific Time core hours, allowing you to balance productivity with personal well-being while contributing to a high-impact, innovation-driven team.

🎯 Requirements

• Senior-level experience as a Mobile Software Engineer with a proven track record in iOS/Android development and a strong interest or specialization in quality assurance, testing, or DevOps practices.
• Deep proficiency in Swift and hands-on experience with mobile development frameworks, including UIKit, SwiftUI, and platform-specific APIs for both iOS and Android (via Kotlin/Java or cross-platform experience considered).
• Demonstrated ability to leverage AI tools (LLMs) to solve engineering challenges — specifically, experience using prompts to analyze code, generate test cases, or automate review workflows.
• Strong problem-solving mindset focused on reducing human intervention in quality gates through automation, intelligent feedback, and predictive analytics.
• Excellent verbal and written English communication skills, with the ability to clearly articulate technical concepts, influence peers, and advocate for quality improvements across teams.
