- • As a Mobility Specialist at Remote, you will play a critical role in enabling global talent mobility by ensuring seamless, compliant transitions for employees across borders, directly supporting Remote’s mission to build a worldwide talent community.
- • Your day-to-day responsibilities include providing legal and strategic guidance on immigration compliance, managing visa and work permit applications, monitoring regulatory changes, handling escalations, maintaining case management systems, and serving as a trusted point of contact for business travel and sponsorship needs.
- • You will join Remote’s Onboarding and Mobility team, a globally distributed, async-first group dedicated to solving complex international employment challenges with innovation, automation, and a strong commitment to compliance and employee experience.
- • This role offers the opportunity to deepen your expertise in global immigration law, drive process improvements through automation and documentation, and make a tangible impact on Remote’s ability to scale globally while supporting employees and clients with confidence and care.
🎯 Requirements
- • Proven experience in immigration compliance, global mobility, or similar roles with a focus on immigration procedures
- • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and maintain composure and efficiency under pressure
- • Demonstrated customer-facing experience with strong communication skills and the ability to engage diverse client bases
- • Experience working remotely and/or asynchronously with minimal oversight is an advantage
- • Must write and speak English fluently (additional languages are a plus)
- • Experience in the technology sector or a high-growth scaling company is highly desirable
