• • As a Motion Designer at the Monad Foundation, you will be instrumental in defining and executing the visual narrative of our brand across all digital touchpoints. Your primary responsibility will be to transform static design concepts into dynamic, engaging motion graphics that clarify complex ideas, humanize our technology, and resonate with our diverse community. This role is a unique opportunity to blend creative artistry with technical precision, contributing significantly to how Monad communicates its mission and technological advancements.
• • You will be a key collaborator with our Design and Content teams, actively participating in the conceptualization phase to envision how ideas can be best expressed through motion. Your work will bring these concepts to life through polished, intentional animations that adhere to and enhance Monad's established visual identity.
• • A core part of your role will involve creating a wide array of high-quality motion and animation assets. This includes developing engaging content for marketing campaigns, crafting clear and concise educational explainers for platforms like Monad and Pipeline channels, designing dynamic product demos that showcase the capabilities of the Monad blockchain, and producing eye-catching graphics for livestreams, such as animated lower-thirds and dynamic intros for shows like 'Monad in the Morning'.
• • You will also be responsible for designing and animating visual elements for events, whether they are physical conferences, hackathons, or online community activations. This could range from animated logos and transitions that reinforce Monad's brand motion to engaging collateral that captures the excitement of these events.
• • A critical aspect of your contribution will be translating existing static design systems into fluid, expressive animations. This requires a keen eye for detail, with a strong emphasis on timing, rhythm, composition, and visual flow, ensuring that every animated element feels intentional and contributes to the overall narrative.
• • You will work closely with the Design and Content Teams to ensure that all motion graphics align seamlessly with Monad's overarching brand guidelines and creative direction. This collaborative approach guarantees consistency and strengthens the brand's visual language.
• • Your involvement will extend to the early stages of project development, including concept ideation and storyboarding. By contributing your expertise in motion design from the outset, you will help shape the direction and impact of our visual storytelling.

• • Proficiency in industry-standard software such as After Effects and Lottie is essential, along with a solid understanding of handoff specifications. A strong interest in or experience with emerging tools like Figma, Rive, and AI tooling is highly valued.
• • A robust understanding of fundamental design principles, including typography, layout, color theory, and animation principles, is crucial for creating impactful visual narratives.
• • You must be comfortable and adept at collaborating with designers, art directors, and cross-functional teams in a fast-paced, remote environment.

• • Familiarity with prototyping tools such as Principle, Framer, or InVision can be beneficial for visualizing and testing motion concepts.
