  • • Lead the setup, configuration, and ongoing management of Verizon cellular backhaul networks for military housing installations, including account provisioning, performance monitoring, bandwidth optimization, and reduction of offline devices using ThingSpace platforms.
  • • Oversee the specification, provisioning, deployment, security configuration, and monitoring of InHand routers and in-home Wi-Fi networks, developing standardized installation and commissioning processes.
  • • Collaborate with HVAC controls partners to enhance and deploy frontend interfaces, mobile applications, Yardi integration, and automated vacant home reprogramming capabilities, supporting testing, validation, and rollout.
  • • Coordinate with installation and maintenance partners to ensure EMS equipment is installed and maintained per specifications, providing technical training, remote and onsite support, troubleshooting of offline devices, and reprogramming assistance.
  • • Deliver limited technical consulting to customer IT teams on Yardi integration, alarm management, vacant home automation, and business intelligence/reporting solutions.
  • • Monitor communications infrastructure integrity and performance using diagnostic tools to identify and remediate network issues, interference, and data usage anomalies.
  • • Support end-to-end project execution including development, testing, and operational phases of the multisite Energy Management System (EMS) technical solution.
  • • Identify, train, and support customer and partner personnel on network management, controls, and monitoring applications relevant to the EMS deployment.
  • • Ensure compliance with technical standards and operational protocols across multiple military housing sites.
  • • Maintain accurate documentation of system configurations, network changes, troubleshooting actions, and training materials.
  • • Respond to field-reported issues with urgency, prioritizing system uptime and resident comfort through rapid diagnostics and resolution.
  • • Work closely with vendor teams to align on deliverables, timelines, and technical specifications for routers, IoT devices, and building automation systems.
  • • Apply knowledge of RF diagnostics, network security protocols, and bandwidth management to optimize wireless performance in dense residential environments.
  • • Adapt technical solutions to meet the unique security and operational requirements of U.S. military installations.
  • • Participate in project planning meetings, status updates, and post-deployment reviews to ensure alignment with customer expectations and project goals.
  • • Maintain awareness of emerging technologies in cellular IoT, building automation, and energy management systems to recommend improvements.
  • • Travel frequently (40%) to military installations across the U.S. to conduct on-site installations, inspections, training, and troubleshooting.

🎯 Requirements

  • • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering, Information Technology, Computer Science, Energy Systems, or related STEM field
  • • Minimum of 4 years of experience in building energy management systems (EMS/BMS), IoT/cellular networking, HVAC controls, or related technical field
  • • Must be eligible for and capable of gaining entry to U.S. military installations
  • • Travel Required (frequent travel to military installations) (40%)
