- • Lead the development and execution of an annual plan to engage Medical Experts (MEs) across the Hematology therapeutic area, aligning strategies with Marketing, Medical Affairs, and General Management teams.
- • Define, identify, and maintain the composition of the ME universe (Tier 1, Tier 2, and Rising Stars) in partnership with key internal stakeholders.
- • Conduct or orchestrate cross-functional 1:1 engagements with Tier 1 MEs and high-value Tier 2/Rising Stars to gather post-approval insights on market dynamics, competitive landscape, patient journey, and product profile to inform marketing strategy.
- • Collaborate with Marketing Strategy to develop and support execution of advisory board and consultancy submissions, including nomination of relevant MEs as advisors or consultants.
- • Partner with Medical Affairs to identify, nominate, and deploy MEs for specific market-related needs such as payer initiatives or access challenges.
- • Schedule, coordinate, and execute cross-functional engagements with MEs including site visits, executive leadership meetings, and immersion days.
- • Serve as the primary point of contact between the ME universe and Novartis, directing MEs to appropriate internal teams for follow-up engagement.
- • Collaborate with HCP Education Delivery, Field Leadership, Compliance, and other stakeholders to design and deliver commercial educational programs.
- • Serve as moderator or faculty for educational activities such as Peer Exchange Programs (PXP).
- • Support identification, approval, and representation of Novartis at regional and national conferences, state society meetings, and other permitted events.
- • Develop and execute a cohesive ME engagement plan for national and regional congresses in alignment with Congress Strategy, Marketing Strategy, Field Leadership, and Medical Affairs.
- • Oversee creation and utilization of brand materials and resources to ensure consistency and compliance with marketing objectives.
- • Deliver business reviews to senior leadership, using KPIs and analytical insights to demonstrate impact and drive continuous improvement.
- • Lead the development and implementation of training programs to enhance marketing and scientific knowledge of the Hematology disease state, competitive products, platforms, and processes.
- • Anticipate healthcare environment changes at regional and national levels, synthesizing insights to develop strategic solutions that address emerging challenges and opportunities.
- • Champion IMO/TLL change initiatives and lead self-initiated projects to improve performance and operational efficiency at a national scale.
- • Demonstrate advanced expertise in navigating complex stakeholder dynamics, healthcare system structures, emotional intelligence, and ethical decision-making.
- • Maintain strong working knowledge of thought leaders, institutions, and systems within the Hematology therapeutic area and specialty sales landscape.
- • Ensure all activities comply with company policies, compliance requirements, and regulatory standards.
🎯 Requirements
- • Bachelor’s degree in a related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred
- • Minimum of 5 years of TLL, Account Management, or related experience with at least 2 years of line management or people management experience
- • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in the Hematology disease area preferred; required in Specialty Sales
- • Strong knowledge of the healthcare and pharmaceutical industry with proven ability to build productive relationships with physicians and healthcare professionals
- • Strong analytical and presentation skills
