- • Provide visionary and strategic leadership to advance InterVarsity's commitment to ethnic reconciliation and justice within campus ministries across the USA.
- • Develop and implement comprehensive strategies to establish and grow intentionally multiethnic chapters, ensuring they effectively reach diverse student and faculty populations.
- • Spearhead the creation and deployment of formation experiences, such as short-term cross-cultural immersions and training programs, designed to engage students and faculty in deep learning about ethnic reconciliation and justice.
- • Champion the integration of ethnic reconciliation and justice principles into all aspects of student and faculty engagement, including campus events, conferences, and large group gatherings.
- • Serve as a key member of the Focused Ministries Directors Team, contributing to mutual learning, collaborative goal achievement, and the pursuit of InterVarsity's long-term vision (2030 Calling).
- • Offer theological, biblical, and practical insights to the broader Fellowship on critical issues related to ethnic reconciliation and justice.
- • Collaborate with the VP of Focused Ministries to oversee the annual allocation of national financial resources specifically for ethnic minority staff.
- • Support initiatives aimed at recruiting, placing, and funding ethnic minority staff, working in partnership with relevant leadership.
- • Mentor, equip, and empower multiethnic ministry leaders throughout the Fellowship, fostering a culture of multiplication and sustainable growth.
- • Recruit, hire, and provide effective supervision and development for department staff, focusing on training, professional growth, and spiritual formation.
- • Ensure all departmental strategies and operations are in strict alignment with InterVarsity’s Doctrinal Basis, Purpose Statement, Core Commitments, 2030 Calling, and National Initiatives.
- • Cultivate and maintain fruitful external partnerships that enhance and support InterVarsity's mission in ethnic reconciliation and justice.
- • Model exemplary spiritual and personal maturity as a disciple of Jesus Christ, demonstrating a profound love for God, His Word, His people of all ethnicities and cultures, and His purposes for the world.
- • Consistently practice spiritual disciplines that foster personal spiritual vitality and resilience.
- • Actively pursue meaningful spiritual relationships and participate in a vibrant worshipping community.

- • In partnership with the Field EVP and Focused Ministries VP, clearly articulate InterVarsity’s overarching vision for ethnic reconciliation and justice to diverse stakeholders.
- • Collaborate with Field Leadership and Strategic Plan leaders to design and execute plans for planting and growing multiethnic chapters that resonate with and effectively reach various segments of campus communities.
- • Develop and manage the annual budget for the Director position, ensuring sound financial stewardship and resource allocation.
- • Partner closely with the Development team to secure funding for departmental initiatives and strategic projects.
- • Maintain regular and meaningful communication with Ministry Partners, providing updates on progress and impact.
- • Ensure the financial health of the department through diligent budget management, proactive fund development, and responsible expense control.
- • Provide oversight and accountability for staff engaged in Ministry Partnership Development, ensuring best practices and effectiveness.
- • Establish and maintain a designated home office environment conducive to productive remote work.
- • Undertake required travel, including but not limited to, Ministry Partner Development meetings, Multiethnic team gatherings, and InterVarsity-sponsored training events, meetings, and conferences, to foster connection and advance ministry goals.
