  • • As a National Sales Trainer at Vision Service Plan (VSP), you will be instrumental in shaping the future of our sales force by designing, developing, and delivering impactful training programs. This role is critical to enhancing the technical, sales, and communication skills of our employees and business partners, directly contributing to the company's growth and success.
  • • You will be responsible for a comprehensive training lifecycle, starting with the assessment of current skill levels and identifying areas for improvement. This involves collaborating closely with various business units to understand their unique challenges and objectives, and then translating these insights into actionable training strategies.
  • • A key aspect of your role will be the design and development of engaging training agendas and materials. This includes creating comprehensive course content, detailed manuals, user-friendly leader’s guides, interactive online modules, and dynamic webinar delivery formats. Your creativity and instructional design expertise will be paramount in ensuring the training is both informative and engaging.
  • • You will also play a pivotal role in project managing the delivery of training for new product and system rollouts. This requires meticulous planning, coordination, and execution to ensure that our sales teams are well-equipped with the knowledge and skills needed to successfully introduce and support new offerings.
  • • Partnering effectively with business partners across the organization is essential. You will work collaboratively to execute successful training events for both new hires and existing employees, ensuring a consistent and high-quality learning experience throughout their tenure with VSP.
  • • This position demands active participation within a dynamic and evolving sales organization. You will need to be adaptable, responsive to change, and proactive in identifying emerging training needs.
  • • Delivering dynamic and relevant training sessions that meet the specific needs of the organization is a core responsibility. Your ability to connect with diverse audiences and tailor your delivery style will be key to fostering a positive and effective learning environment.
  • • Collaboration with other department trainers is encouraged to maintain and enhance current programs, as well as to develop new initiatives. This cross-functional teamwork ensures a cohesive and comprehensive training ecosystem within VSP.
  • • You will serve as an expert and a focal point for on-site staff members and fellow trainers when complex issues, questions, or interpretations of company-wide information arise. This includes assessing the impacts of such information on procedures and workflows, providing guidance, and ensuring consistent application of policies.
  • • Furthermore, you will act as a mentor, offering leadership, structure, and guidance to other trainers. This involves sharing best practices, fostering professional development, and ensuring the overall quality and effectiveness of the training team.
  • • Your responsibilities will extend to conducting sales, systems, and service skill training for both existing and new employees in assigned regional offices, ensuring a high standard of performance across the sales organization.
  • • This role requires a proactive approach to identifying and addressing skill gaps, contributing to a culture of continuous learning and professional development within VSP. Your efforts will directly impact sales performance, customer satisfaction, and overall business objectives.
