📋 Description

• We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Netcracker OSS Developer/Configurator to join our dynamic team. In this pivotal role, you will be instrumental in the configuration, customization, and implementation of sophisticated Netcracker OSS (Operations Support System) solutions. Your primary focus will be on empowering our network operations and ensuring seamless service lifecycle management across our advanced infrastructure. This position demands a deep understanding of core OSS domains, including Network Inventory, Service Provisioning, Fault Management, Performance Monitoring, Configuration Management, and Service Assurance. The ideal candidate will possess robust telecom domain expertise coupled with a proven track record of successfully delivering scalable and resilient OSS solutions within intricate, multi-vendor network environments.
• As a Netcracker OSS Developer/Configurator, you will be responsible for the intricate configuration and customization of key Netcracker OSS modules. This includes, but is not limited to, Network Inventory, Service Provisioning, Fault Management, Performance Monitoring, Configuration Management, and Service Assurance. Your expertise will be crucial in developing and refining workflows, creating essential adapters, defining robust rules, and architecting sophisticated orchestration logic to facilitate efficient service activation and comprehensive lifecycle management. You will play a key role in implementing and optimizing service models, resource models, and accurately representing network topology configurations to ensure a unified and accurate view of our network assets.
• Furthermore, your responsibilities will extend to configuring event correlation mechanisms, establishing precise alarm rules, and defining optimal monitoring thresholds to proactively identify and address potential network issues. You will also be tasked with customizing dashboards, generating insightful reports, and tailoring operational views to meet the specific needs of our Network Operations Center (NOC) and broader service operations teams, thereby enhancing their ability to monitor and manage network performance effectively.
• A significant aspect of this role involves the design and implementation of robust integrations between the Netcracker OSS platform and various network elements and systems. This includes interfacing with network elements via standard protocols such as SNMP, TL1, REST, and SOAP, as well as integrating with EMS (Element Management System) and NMS (Network Management System) platforms. You will also be responsible for integrating with BSS (Business Support System) platforms and relevant third-party monitoring tools to ensure a holistic view of operations. Your work will directly support complex provisioning flows across diverse, multi-technology environments, encompassing IP, MPLS, Fiber, Wireless, and other critical network technologies. A key objective will be to implement automation scripts and sophisticated orchestration logic, significantly reducing manual intervention and improving operational efficiency.
• You will also be involved in supporting the configuration and troubleshooting of both northbound and southbound interfaces, ensuring smooth data exchange and system interoperability. Your contribution to the testing and support phases of our projects will be invaluable. This includes actively participating in solution design discussions, conducting thorough technical impact assessments, and performing comprehensive unit testing. You will also provide critical support during system integration testing (SIT) and user acceptance testing (UAT), ensuring the delivered solutions meet all functional and performance requirements.
• Proactive troubleshooting of issues related to inventory inconsistencies, provisioning failures, alarm storms, and performance degradation will be a core part of your duties. You will provide essential support for production deployments, including pre-deployment checks and post-go-live stabilization activities, ensuring a smooth transition to live operations. Maintaining accurate and up-to-date configuration documentation and technical specifications is also a key deliverable, ensuring knowledge transfer and long-term maintainability of the implemented solutions. 🎯 Requirements

• Proven experience in configuring and customizing Netcracker OSS modules (Network Inventory, Service Provisioning, Fault Management, Performance Monitoring, Configuration Management, Service Assurance).
• Strong understanding of telecom network architectures and operations, with hands-on experience in multi-vendor environments.
• Proficiency in developing workflows, adapters, rules, and orchestration logic for service activation and lifecycle management.
• Experience with network element integration protocols (SNMP, TL1, REST, SOAP) and interfacing with EMS/NMS platforms.
• Familiarity with scripting for automation (e.g., Python, Shell) and experience in troubleshooting complex OSS issues.
