• As a Network Engineer II in our Technology Services team, based in Bengaluru, Karnataka, you will be instrumental in shaping and maintaining our global network infrastructure. This role is crucial for ensuring the resilience, performance, and security of our interconnected systems that support our mission to protect organizations worldwide.
• You will be responsible for the design, implementation, and ongoing management of our network, with a strong emphasis on Cisco Meraki technologies. This includes configuring, troubleshooting, and optimizing switches, routers, firewalls, and wireless access points to meet the dynamic needs of a fast-paced cybersecurity company.
• A significant part of your role will involve working with cloud networking environments, specifically within AWS, Azure, and GCP. You will design, deploy, and manage secure and scalable network solutions in these cloud platforms, ensuring seamless connectivity and robust security posture for our cloud-based services and infrastructure.
• This position demands a deep understanding and practical application of modern Zero Trust network architectures. You will be involved in implementing and enforcing granular access controls, micro-segmentation, and continuous verification to minimize the attack surface and enhance our overall security framework.
• You will collaborate closely with cross-functional IT and security teams, including system administrators, security analysts, and DevOps engineers, to integrate network solutions with broader IT initiatives and security protocols. This collaborative approach ensures that our network infrastructure aligns with business objectives and security best practices.
• Proactively monitor network performance, identify potential bottlenecks, and implement optimizations to ensure high availability and low latency. This includes establishing and maintaining comprehensive network monitoring tools and alerting systems.
• Develop and maintain detailed network documentation, including diagrams, configurations, and standard operating procedures. This ensures consistency, facilitates knowledge transfer, and aids in efficient troubleshooting.
• Participate in the planning and execution of network upgrades, migrations, and new deployments. You will contribute technical expertise to project planning, risk assessment, and implementation phases.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex network issues, performing root cause analysis to prevent recurrence. This requires strong analytical skills and the ability to work under pressure to minimize downtime.
• Stay abreast of the latest networking technologies, security trends, and industry best practices, particularly in areas relevant to cybersecurity and cloud computing. Continuously seek opportunities for professional development and skill enhancement.
• Contribute to the development and enforcement of network security policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with internal standards and external regulations.
• Manage and maintain network security devices, including firewalls and intrusion prevention systems, ensuring they are up-to-date and configured effectively to protect against threats.
• Support the integration of new technologies and services into the existing network infrastructure, ensuring compatibility and optimal performance.
• You will report directly to the Director of Technology Services, working within a team that is dedicated to providing robust and secure IT services that underpin Cyderes's global operations.

🎯 Requirements

• Proven experience as a Network Engineer, with a strong focus on Cisco Meraki solutions (e.g., MX, MS, MR).
• Hands-on experience with cloud networking in at least one major provider (AWS, Azure, or GCP), including VPCs, subnets, security groups, and VPNs.
• Solid understanding and practical experience with Zero Trust network principles and implementation.
• Proficiency in network troubleshooting, performance tuning, and security best practices.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
