Full Job Description
đź“‹ Description
- • As Partly’s Network Manager, NZ Supply, you’ll be the hands-on operator behind our New Zealand supply network. You’ll be the single point of accountability for selection, live inventory, and supplier performance across the platform.
- • Your mission: make sure repairers can find the part they need, see accurate availability, and trust the supplier on the other side. More than this, we want to maximise choice across supplier channels and cost. You’ll do that by getting deep in the data, building tight feedback loops with suppliers, and partnering with Product and Engineering to turn insight into action.
- • This isn’t a back-office supply chain role, and it isn’t purely strategy. It’s a commercial, analytical and operational role for someone energised by the detail: running the numbers, pulling the levers, and being the person who knows the network better than anyone else in the building.
- • You will drive selection, availability and supplier performance by owning the day-to-day health of the supply network, using Partly’s supplier performance features and data to identify under-performance, and setting priorities for coverage, integrations, pricing, and supplier recruitment.
- • You will lead with data, hands-on by living in the dashboards, building new ones where they don’t exist, producing insights that inform supplier conversations and internal trade-offs, and turning signals into action by spotting coverage gaps, availability dips, or slipping suppliers and driving the response.
- • You will be the supplier advocate by synthesising supplier needs, pain points, and feedback into a clear point of view that lands internally, representing suppliers in product, engineering, and operational decisions, and building trust through consistency as the person suppliers know, call, and rely on.
- • You will partner cross-functionally with Sales, Solutions Engineering, Customer Success, and Account Management, and visit suppliers onsite when it matters to build real relationships in workshops and yards.
- • You will learn how to operate a global B2B marketplace supply network, deepen your analytical and commercial skills in a high-growth tech environment, and develop influence across product, engineering, and supplier ecosystems while contributing to Partly’s mission of connecting the world’s parts and accelerating a sustainable future.
🎯 Requirements
- • Analytical and commercial: You think in numbers and trade-offs. You can build a model, defend a recommendation, and translate data into a commercial outcome.
- • Hands-on operator: Comfortable in the weeds. You pull the data yourself, write the SQL or the pivot, run the supplier review, and fix the issue. You don’t wait for someone else to produce the dashboard.
- • Strong communicator and influencer: You can sit with a supplier, a Product Manager, and a senior leader in the same week and earn credibility with each. Calm, clear, well-prepared.
- • Customer empathy, supply-side: You take the time to understand suppliers’ businesses (how they make money, what frustrates them, what they need from us) and translate that into clear internal advocacy.
- • Ownership mindset: Proactive, decisive, and comfortable operating with autonomy in a fast-paced, high-growth environment. You don’t wait to be told.
- • Tech-savvy: Fluent with the tools that move the work (BI/analytics, CRMs, integration concepts). You can hold a credible conversation with engineering when you need to.
