- • As a New Business Account Executive at Twilio Inc., you will be instrumental in driving the growth strategy for Twilio Japan, focusing on acquiring new customers and expanding our market presence. This remote role, based in Japan, offers a unique opportunity to shape the future of communications for hundreds of thousands of businesses worldwide.
- • You will develop and execute a comprehensive territory plan, identifying target accounts and crafting winning strategies to secure new business. This involves a proactive approach to market engagement, understanding customer needs, and positioning Twilio's innovative solutions effectively.
- • Collaboration is key to success. You will work closely with internal stakeholders, including demand generation marketing, digital sales teams, partner managers, and system engineers, to align on shared goals, secure necessary support, and ensure a cohesive go-to-market strategy.
- • Your primary customers will include application owners, product managers, line of business executives, CxOs, and Heads of Omni-channel and Digital Strategy. You will engage with a diverse range of industries and segments, from retail, financial services, and manufacturing to transportation, public sectors, independent software vendors (ISVs), system integrators (SIs), and fast-moving technology startups.
- • A critical aspect of this role is accurate business forecasting. You will manage the sales funnel diligently, ensuring systematic follow-up and maintaining discipline in utilizing Salesforce (SFDC) and its supplementary tools as the definitive source of truth for business pipelines and performance.
- • You will act as a brand ambassador for Twilio, embodying and articulating our Mission, Vision, Values, and Corporate Story to customers, potential clients, and external partners. This involves building strong relationships and fostering a deep understanding of Twilio's value proposition.
- • The role demands a challenger mindset, with a strong appetite for acquiring new business and expanding customer relationships. You will be expected to identify opportunities, overcome objections, and consistently deliver results.
- • You will be responsible for demonstrating a proven track record of business growth, developing and executing effective growth strategies, and achieving market-driven results, particularly with scale and enterprise customers.
- • Comfort in engaging with both business and highly technical leaders is essential. You will need to influence their understanding of Twilio's capabilities and build supportive, long-term partnerships.
