  • • This role is central to our vision of reimagining relationship banking. You will be instrumental in shaping our offering as a relatively new bank, contributing to the ongoing development of our services and strategies.
  • • The Relationship Manager team, established in 2022, is expanding rapidly in line with the bank's growth. A core element of our strategy is to provide every customer with a dedicated Relationship Manager, ensuring outstanding service and fostering deep understanding and trust.
  • • As a Relationship Manager, you will become a trusted partner to your SME clients, gaining insight into their ambitions, goals, and motivations. You will proactively support them by offering Allica Bank's comprehensive suite of products, including Business Current Accounts, Savings Accounts, Commercial Loans, Asset Finance, and Working Capital Facilities.
  • • Given that Allica Bank is a growing institution, customer portfolios are designed for expansion. Consequently, new business development is a critical facet of this role. You will be expected to confidently and competently win new business, actively growing your client base.
  • • Beyond direct client acquisition, you will cultivate and maintain a robust network of local trusted SME advisors, particularly accountants. Your aim is to be recognized as a valued financial expert and partner within the communities you serve, differentiating yourself from commercial finance brokers who are managed by a dedicated team.
  • • This position is heavily focused on Growth and Business Development. You will be responsible for building your client portfolio from the ground up through new business generation within your designated local area and subsequently managing these relationships post-onboarding. A strong business development mindset is therefore paramount.
  • • This is an exceptional opportunity to not only build and shape your own client portfolio but also to influence the future direction and strategy of the entire Relationship Team.
  • • You will serve as the primary point of contact and trusted SME Relationship Manager within your community, actively engaging in business networks and professional groups to represent Allica Bank and build strong external relationships.
  • • Your responsibilities will include building and managing a diverse portfolio of SME customers, deeply understanding their unique needs and business aspirations, and identifying opportunities to support them with Allica Bank's products and services, as well as leveraging your external network.
  • • A key aspect of the role involves originating SME lending opportunities, managing the entire process from initial inquiry through to completion. This includes preparing comprehensive credit papers aligned with Allica’s credit policy and appetite, and collaborating with operational teams to ensure seamless service delivery.
  • • You will foster deep, trusting, and enduring relationships with the customers you onboard, adeptly meeting a variety of their needs through the strategic provision of Allica Bank's product suite.
  • • You will be responsible for creating and executing the business plan for your assigned area, setting and actively managing new business objectives and your personal development plan to ensure continuous growth and performance.
  • • You will act as a proud ambassador for Allica Bank in your community, ensuring exceptional service delivery for local SME customers, prospects, and advisors, thereby enhancing the bank's reputation.
  • • Collaboration is key. You will work closely and effectively with all departments within Allica, including the Business Development and Accountancy Partnership Teams, to maximize opportunities and present a cohesive and compelling proposition to our target markets.
