📋 Description

• As a New Patient Nurse at Montu UK Limited, you will serve as the first clinical point of contact for prospective patients seeking medicinal cannabis treatment, playing a pivotal role in shaping their initial experience and ensuring they feel heard, supported, and well-informed from the outset of their care journey.
• You will conduct video-based pre-assessment consultations, gathering comprehensive medical histories including current medications, allergies, and family health backgrounds, while assessing patient suitability for referral to Montu’s expert consultants and maintaining strict confidentiality and accurate digital records in compliance with clinical governance standards.
• Your day-to-day responsibilities will include providing clear, compassionate guidance about the onboarding process, addressing patient questions with empathy and clinical accuracy, and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless transitions into treatment pathways, all while working fully remotely from a home-based environment.
• You will join a forward-thinking, collaborative clinical team at Montu UK, a rapidly growing digital health leader specialising in cannabis-based medicines (CBPM), where innovation in technology meets high-quality clinical care to expand patient access to safe, effective treatments in a regulated and evolving healthcare landscape.
• In this role, you will deepen your expertise in telehealth nursing, patient assessment in emerging therapeutic areas, and digital clinical workflows, while contributing to meaningful change in healthcare by supporting patients at the very beginning of their treatment journey and representing Montu at internal and external events to grow your professional impact.

🎯 Requirements

• Registered Nurse with active NMC registration and a minimum of 5 years of clinical experience in a UK healthcare setting.
• Hold a UK-based nursing degree (e.g., BSc Nursing or equivalent) as a foundational qualification for clinical practice.
• Demonstrated strong communication and organisational skills, with proven ability to manage sensitive patient conversations and maintain accurate, confidential records.
• Experience in telehealth or remote patient consultations is desired, along with confidence in using digital platforms for video-based assessments and electronic health record systems.
• A compassionate, patient-centred approach to care, with the ability to build trust quickly and support individuals navigating complex health decisions.
