Full Job Description
đ Description
- ⢠As a Senior Triage Physiotherapist at Montu UK Limited, you will play a critical role in the patient care pathway by conducting remote triage assessments to determine the urgency and appropriateness of referrals, ensuring patients are directed to the right level of care without delivering treatment yourself. This role is vital in maintaining clinical safety, optimizing service efficiency, and supporting Montuâs mission to expand access to cannabis-based medicines through structured, evidence-based triage.
- ⢠Day-to-day responsibilities include performing comprehensive paper and digital triage of patient referrals and medical records to assess clinical urgency, risk, and suitability for further assessment; conducting structured telephone and video triage using internal policies and national guidelines to support autonomous decision-making; identifying red flags, contraindications, and safeguarding concerns, escalating them promptly in line with Montuâs policies and NHS standards; maintaining accurate, timely clinical records in electronic systems; signposting patients to appropriate internal or external pathways, including referrals for further assessment or alternative care; contributing to service improvement by leading or participating in pathway audits, SOP development, and outcome measurement using PROMs and time-to-treatment metrics; supporting the creation of patient education materials and digital triage scripts to enhance clarity and accessibility; championing clinical governance, incident reporting, and continuous quality improvement initiatives; and helping shape the future of physiotherapy-led triage services within the organisation by mentoring peers and influencing service design.
- ⢠You will join a purpose-driven, fast-growing digital health company at the forefront of cannabis-based medicine innovation in the UK, where clinical excellence, patient safety, and technological enablement are core to operations. Montu UK fosters a collaborative, supportive culture that values professional autonomy and encourages clinicians to contribute beyond direct care â whether through quality improvement, education, or service redesign â all while working remotely with access to advanced telehealth and EMR systems.
- ⢠In this role, you will deepen your expertise in remote clinical triage, advanced decision-making, and clinical governance within a scalable digital health context; develop leadership and influence in service development and quality improvement projects; gain experience in a regulated, innovative healthcare environment involving cannabis-based medicinal products; and strengthen your ability to communicate complex clinical information clearly to diverse audiences, positioning you for advancement into senior clinical, leadership, or specialist roles within digital health or integrated care systems.
