• • The Network Patching Specialist is a critical role responsible for maintaining the security and performance of client network infrastructure through timely deployment of firmware updates and patches in a Managed Service Provider (MSP) environment. This position ensures that networking devices such as routers, switches, firewalls, and access points remain up to date, compliant, and resilient against vulnerabilities.
• • Day-to-day responsibilities include deploying patches, monitoring patching schedules, troubleshooting deployment failures, documenting procedures in ITSM systems, responding to service requests, coordinating with vendors on patch-related issues, and ensuring rollback procedures are in place for failed updates. The role requires proactive monitoring of system health dashboards and maintaining detailed records for compliance and audit purposes.
