- • The NFL Canada Internship is a 12-month full-time paid coordinator role based in downtown Toronto, running from May 2026 to May 31, 2027, designed to support recent graduates in gaining hands-on experience in the sports industry while advancing the NFL’s Inspire Change and Diversity commitments.
- • Day-to-day responsibilities include supporting partnership relations, community and event management (including NFL Kickoff and NFL Flag events), marketing and fan development (social/digital content planning, influencer kits, competitive tracking), database and CRM marketing (email newsletters, data acquisition), website management for Canadian webpages, partnership fulfillment (merchandise and ticket requests), partner road trips to NFL games, campaign reporting, and administrative duties such as purchase orders, contract support, and shipping.
- • The role sits within NFL International, a fast-growing strategic priority with global offices in Canada, China, Germany, Mexico, Australia, Spain, Brazil, and the UK, offering exposure to cross-functional teams in Marketing, Fan Development, and Corporate Partnerships within a dynamic, mission-driven sports organization.
- • Interns will develop professional skills through structured goal-setting, regular feedback, and targeted training in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint, presentation and impact skills, and recruitment/CV workshops, while building a network, gaining sports industry insight, and preparing for future careers in sports business, marketing, or partnerships.
🎯 Requirements
- • Recently completed an undergraduate program (preferred) or 2-3 years of relevant work experience
- • Strong organizational, analytical, and critical thinking skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and stakeholders in a matrix environment
- • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite: Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- • Excellent written and oral communication skills, with a proactive, team-oriented mindset and passion for the business of sport
