- • As a NGL K12 Field Sales Consultant for Massachusetts and New Hampshire, you will be at the forefront of educational innovation, driving the adoption of National Geographic Learning's transformative digital and print resources within the K-12 market. - • Your primary responsibility will be to conduct in-person sales consultations, building strong relationships with key decision-makers in school districts across Massachusetts and New Hampshire. You will act as a trusted advisor, understanding the unique challenges and goals of each institution and tailoring solutions that align with their educational objectives and student needs.
- • A critical aspect of this role involves developing and meticulously implementing strategic sales plans designed to achieve and exceed ambitious sales targets. This requires a proactive approach to identifying new business opportunities, cultivating leads, and nurturing existing relationships to drive consistent revenue growth.
- • You will be instrumental in driving new business acquisition by actively seeking out and engaging potential clients. - • This role demands active participation in network-building opportunities. You will represent Cengage Group and National Geographic Learning at key conferences, industry functions, and educational events, expanding our reach and strengthening our presence within the K-12 community.
- • You will be responsible for presenting compelling product demonstrations, highlighting the pedagogical benefits and technological advantages of our digital learning platforms and classroom resources. This includes showcasing how our content, developed in partnership with National Geographic explorers, scientists, and photographers, brings the real world into the classroom.
- • A significant part of your success will depend on your ability to understand the evolving needs of the K-12 education sector and to translate those needs into actionable sales strategies. You will stay abreast of educational trends, curriculum standards, and technological advancements to ensure our solutions remain relevant and impactful.
- • You will collaborate closely with internal teams, including marketing and product development, to provide valuable market feedback and contribute to the continuous improvement of our educational offerings. 🎯 Requirements
- • Proven track record of consistent sales performance and goal achievement in a B2B or B2G sales environment, preferably within the education sector.
- • Excellent verbal, written, and electronic communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate complex solutions clearly and persuasively.
- • Strong proficiency in business technologies, including CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce), Microsoft Office Suite, and mobile devices, for effective territory management and reporting.
- • Ability to build and implement effective sales solutions, demonstrating a strategic understanding of customer needs and market dynamics.
