- • This role is responsible for investigating and managing non-attorney represented bodily injury claims from initial report through resolution, ensuring fair and timely outcomes while delivering a positive customer experience. As part of National General, an Allstate company, you will contribute to a market-leading insurance provider known for innovation and financial strength, handling claims that directly impact customer recovery and trust.
- • Day to day, you will evaluate coverage, determine liability, assess damages, and negotiate claims within your authority level; gather information from customers, explain the claims process, and provide clear, supportive communication; identify potential subrogation or fraud and partner with internal teams such as special investigations or legal to achieve optimal outcomes; recognize vehicle body parts and related property damage to accurately assess claims; apply intermediate knowledge of company insurance policies, industry standards, and organizational relationships to make informed decisions; and manage claims with strong time management and analytical skills, detecting discrepancies and issues from multiple sources.
- • You will join a dedicated claims team supporting the Pacific Time Zone within National General Holdings Corp., a specialty personal lines insurance holding company headquartered in New York City with roots dating back to 1939 and an A– (excellent) financial strength rating from A.M. Best. The company operates through a large network of independent agents and direct-to-consumer channels, offering auto, home, accident and health, and other niche insurance products across multiple subsidiaries including Direct General Auto & Life, Personal Express Insurance, and Century-National Insurance.

🎯 Requirements
- • Ability to obtain and maintain required adjuster licenses for the state(s) of operation.
- • Strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively interact with customers and internal teams.
- • Proficient in Microsoft Word and Outlook for documentation and correspondence.
- • Strong time management and analytical skills with the ability to detect discrepancies and recognize issues from multiple sources.
- • Customer service orientation with experience identifying and meeting customer needs using appropriate service skills.
- • Intermediate understanding of insurance policies, industry practices, and organizational relationships within the claims department.

- • Base compensation ranging from $47,500 to $104,100 depending on role level (Auto Analyst II to Auto Sr Cons I), based on experience and qualifications, with potential for incentive pay such as bonuses or commissions.
