📋 Description

• • Architect and own the global observability transformation at PCI Pharma Services, leading the strategic migration from SolarWinds to Dynatrace across 16 manufacturing and corporate sites on four continents. You will be the single-threaded owner of a platform that safeguards the life-saving therapies produced for millions of patients worldwide, ensuring every vial, pen, and pouch is manufactured, packaged, and shipped without interruption.
• • Design end-to-end monitoring coverage for a hybrid estate that spans on-premises data centers, VMware vSphere clusters, Azure & AWS workloads, Cisco firewalls/switches, and manufacturing floors where IT meets OT. Your dashboards will visualize everything from API latency in AWS to the temperature of a SCADA-controlled freezer storing oncology drugs worth millions of dollars.
• • Build and tune Dynatrace OneAgent, ActiveGate, and Davis AI to achieve <5-minute MTTD for Priority-1 incidents and <5 % false-positive alerts. You will script automated remediation in PowerShell/Python, integrate with ServiceNow Event Management for ticket enrichment, and create runbooks that let a 24×7 follow-the-sun NOC resolve issues before patients ever notice.
• • Establish synthetic monitoring for critical business applications such as Clinical Trial Management Systems and ERP portals, simulating user journeys from 50+ countries. When a page load time creeps above 2 s in Singapore or Germany, your alerts will fire, and your dashboards will pinpoint the offending service, container, or network hop.
• • Engineer log aggregation and correlation strategies using ELK fundamentals to feed PCI’s SECURE team with security-relevant events. You will parse Veeam backup logs to guarantee RPO/RTO compliance visibility and craft anomaly-detection rules that flag ransomware encryption patterns within 30 seconds.
• • Drive cost optimization by right-sizing data retention policies, managing Dynatrace DEM units, and eliminating redundant polling from legacy SolarWinds modules. You will present quarterly business reviews showing 20 % license savings reinvested into additional observability features.
• • Train and mentor a global operations team of 40+ engineers on dashboard interpretation, alert triage, and platform hygiene. Your enablement program will include hands-on labs, brown-bag sessions, and a certification path that lifts internal Dynatrace adoption above 80 %.
• • Collaborate with Manufacturing IT to extend observability into OT networks using OPC-UA and Modbus gateways, ensuring GMP-compliant monitoring of industrial control systems without jeopardizing validation states. You will document every sensor, PLC, and historian in a CMDB that regulators trust.
• • Contribute to PCI’s Equity & Inclusion culture by leading a “Women in Observability” community of practice, mentoring early-career engineers, and ensuring that every alert, dashboard, and runbook uses inclusive language that welcomes all identities.
• • Own the roadmap for AIOps evolution—introducing OpenTelemetry traces, distributed transaction stitching, and ML-based capacity forecasting—so PCI can scale to support double-digit therapy launches over the next five years without proportional head-count growth.
