  • • LiveKit is at the forefront of revolutionizing computing through voice technology, building the essential infrastructure for the next era of digital interaction. Since our inception in 2021, we have rapidly become a critical partner for industry leaders like OpenAI, xAI, Salesforce, Coursera, and Spotify, powering billions of calls annually. We are seeking a dynamic and highly autonomous Office & Employee Experience Manager to spearhead the launch and ongoing management of our San Francisco office, while simultaneously elevating the overall employee experience for our distributed, hybrid teams.
  • • This pivotal role offers a unique opportunity to shape the physical and cultural foundations of our growing company. You will be instrumental in establishing our San Francisco hub from the ground up. This involves close collaboration with cross-functional teams including Design, Finance, IT, and external vendors to conceptualize and construct a workspace that is not only highly functional but also exceptionally welcoming and conducive to productivity and collaboration. Your responsibilities will extend to overseeing all facets of daily office operations, ensuring a seamless and efficient environment for all employees.
  • • As the primary point of contact within the San Francisco office, you will be the go-to resource for a wide array of needs. This includes managing all office logistics, coordinating IT equipment shipments, maintaining essential supplies, and providing essential support for onsite interviews, ensuring every candidate has a positive and memorable experience. Beyond the day-to-day operational tasks, you will play a crucial role in cultivating our in-person and hybrid culture. This involves conceptualizing, planning, and executing engaging events, coordinating impactful offsites, and designing experiences that foster a strong sense of connection, recognition, and belonging among our employees, regardless of their work location.
  • • Your responsibilities will encompass a broad spectrum of activities designed to create an exceptional workplace. You will actively support the initial setup and successful launch of our San Francisco office, ensuring all logistical and operational elements are in place. You will take ownership of all ongoing office operations, including proactive maintenance, robust security measures, efficient vendor management, and meticulous inventory of supplies. Handling mail, packages, and managing the logistics of IT device shipping and receiving will be a key part of ensuring our team has the tools they need. You will serve as the primary liaison for employees, visitors, and candidates, embodying LiveKit's commitment to hospitality and professionalism. Supporting onsite interviews and guaranteeing a smooth, positive candidate journey is paramount.
  • • Furthermore, you will be responsible for the end-to-end planning, coordination, and execution of both virtual and in-person events. This includes strategic offsites designed for team alignment and bonding, celebratory events recognizing achievements, enriching learning sessions, and dynamic team-building activities that strengthen our collaborative spirit. You will also manage internal branding initiatives for our People programs, including the curation of onboarding swag that makes new hires feel welcomed, and the development of recognition initiatives that celebrate our team's contributions. A critical aspect of this role is proactively identifying and troubleshooting operational issues, and continuously seeking opportunities to refine and enhance our office and employee experience processes, ensuring LiveKit remains a leading place to work.
