- • As the Office Manager for Docker's new Seattle location, you will be at the forefront of establishing and nurturing a vibrant, productive, and inclusive workplace. This foundational role is critical to shaping the physical and cultural landscape of our growing presence in Seattle, ensuring it perfectly embodies Docker's innovative spirit and developer-centric values.
- • You will be the primary architect of the Seattle office's operational framework, meticulously building systems, forging essential vendor partnerships, and defining workplace experience standards from the ground up. Your efforts will not only govern the current Seattle office but will also lay the groundwork for future office expansions, ensuring scalability and consistency.
- • Your responsibilities will span the full spectrum of office management, from the day-to-day operational flow to strategic facilities oversight. This includes managing landlord relations, coordinating all maintenance activities, and overseeing a diverse range of vendors responsible for cleaning, security, utilities, catering, and office supplies.
- • A key aspect of your role will be developing and diligently maintaining office budgets, working in close collaboration with the Finance department to ensure fiscal responsibility and strategic resource allocation.
- • You will be the guardian of compliance, ensuring the office adheres to all local regulations and upholds the highest standards of workplace safety, creating a secure and healthy environment for everyone.
- • The creation and refinement of operational processes and comprehensive documentation will be a continuous effort, ensuring clarity, efficiency, and a smooth operational cadence.

- • As a dedicated culture ambassador, you will ensure the physical workspace actively reflects and reinforces Docker's core values, creating an environment that inspires and motivates.
- • The role also involves providing comprehensive support for office visitation and usage. This includes managing the logistics and coordination for visiting executives, leadership teams, and important customers, ensuring their experience is positive and productive.
- • You will oversee office access systems and the issuance of employee badging, maintaining security and control.
- • Efficient coordination of conference rooms, shared spaces, and workspace assignments will be essential to optimize the use of our office resources.
- • Strong cross-functional partnership is paramount. You will collaborate closely with the IT department on equipment provisioning, the implementation and maintenance of office technology, and providing essential troubleshooting support.
- • You will partner with the People and Talent teams to effectively support the growing hiring needs in Seattle, ensuring a smooth transition for new team members.
