📋 Description

• As an Onboarding Executive at 1st Formations Limited, you will play a critical role in ensuring new clients experience a seamless transition into the company’s Accounting-as-a-Service platform, directly impacting client satisfaction, retention, and long-term success by guiding startup founders and small business owners through setup, compliance, and tool configuration.
• Day to day, you will lead structured onboarding sessions, configure Xero and other accounting tools, explain statutory obligations like VAT and PAYE registration, document client details for internal handover, identify upsell opportunities, monitor onboarding progress for risks, and collaborate with Customer Service and Retention teams to improve the client journey.
• You will join a mission-driven, B Corp-certified UK leader in company formation and compliance, operating a unified technology platform that integrates formation, accounting, payroll, and ongoing support — serving over 1 million companies formed with £18m annual revenue and strong growth projections.
• In this role, you will deepen your expertise in UK compliance, SaaS onboarding, and client-facing financial services, develop strong consultative communication skills, gain experience with cloud accounting platforms like Xero, and position yourself for career progression within a scaling, innovative business focused on empowering entrepreneurs.

🎯 Requirements

• Experience onboarding clients in a professional services, SaaS, or accountancy environment (UK accounting industry experience is a plus)
• Understanding of UK compliance requirements (e.g. Corporation Tax, Self-Assessment, VAT thresholds, AML, payroll obligations)
• Familiarity with Xero or other cloud-based accounting tools like QuickBooks, Dext, or Sage
• Excellent communication skills: able to explain complex processes in a simple, supportive way
• Proven ability to run structured client calls and keep sessions focused and productive
• Strong documentation habits: able to prepare clean, accurate handovers for internal teams
