đź“‹ Description

  • • The Onboarding Lead at AirGarage Inc. is a pivotal role responsible for owning the end-to-end onboarding experience for new partners, ensuring a seamless transition from deal closure to go-live and beyond. This role is critical to AirGarage’s mission of transforming parking real estate through technology, as successful onboarding directly impacts partner trust, retention, and the scalability of the company’s platform in a rapidly growing market.
  • • What the person will do day to day:
  • • Own the Launch Process for New Properties: Act as the primary owner of each new location’s onboarding journey, from deal close to one week post-launch, developing and executing customized onboarding plans that align hardware, permitting, compliance, and central ops teams to meet all launch dependencies.
  • • Be the Point of Contact for Partners and Stakeholders: Serve as the main liaison for property owners, tenants, and internal stakeholders, proactively managing communications, setting clear expectations, and building trust through timely updates, rapid issue resolution, and anticipation of partner needs.
  • • Drive Internal Execution and Accountability: Ensure alignment across sales, operations, hardware, and partner success teams by surfacing blockers, escalating issues, and solving problems in real time to keep projects on track, while refining internal playbooks to improve onboarding speed, consistency, and quality.
  • • Measure and Improve the Onboarding Experience: Gather feedback from partners and internal teams to identify bottlenecks, implement process improvements, and collaborate with leadership to scale a repeatable, standardized onboarding system using SOPs and best practices.
  • • Create and Refine Client-Facing Onboarding Materials: Develop high-quality collateral such as welcome packets, training guides, transition checklists, and FAQs tailored to partner types, continuously improving clarity and brand alignment through collaboration with design, marketing, and product teams, and maintaining a scalable library of templates.
  • • Support Cross-Functional Initiatives: Partner with product, engineering, and customer success teams to relay partner feedback, inform product improvements, and ensure onboarding insights drive broader operational excellence across the organization.
  • • About the team or company:
  • • AirGarage is a remote-first, mission-driven technology company backed by top-tier investors (including Andreessen Horowitz and Founders Fund) that is digitizing the $131B U.S. parking real estate market by replacing legacy systems with an in-house built, data-rich operating system that increases owner revenue by 20-50%+.
  • • The company values trust, transparency, and operational excellence, with a culture that emphasizes diversity (40% female, 30%+ from underrepresented communities), continuous learning (via BookGarage), and in-person connection through ~6 weeks of annual travel for offsites and launch support.
  • • What the person can learn or achieve in this role:
  • • Develop deep expertise in B2B SaaS onboarding, partner success, and cross-functional project leadership within a high-growth tech startup, gaining exposure to hardware integration, real estate operations, and data-driven product optimization.
  • • Play a foundational role in scaling AirGarage’s partner success function, with clear pathways to grow into leadership positions as the team expands orders of magnitude over the next few years, while contributing to the transformation of urban real estate use through technology.

🎯 Requirements

  • • 3+ years of experience in partner success, implementation, project management, or operations, ideally in a fast-paced startup or tech-enabled services environment.
  • • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills—comfortable engaging with external stakeholders (property owners, tenants) and internal technical teams (engineering, hardware, ops).
  • • Strong project management skills with a proven track record of leading complex, cross-functional initiatives to successful outcomes, including managing timelines, dependencies, and stakeholder expectations.
  • • Willingness to travel approximately 25% of the time (~6 weeks per year) for new location launches, company offsites, and in-person onboarding sessions.
  • • Ability to think critically, solve problems proactively, and remain calm under pressure while driving accountability and process improvement.
  • • Genuine passion for creating exceptional experiences for both partners and internal teams, with a commitment to AirGarage’s mission of transforming real estate through technology.

🏖️ Benefits

  • • Equity: Receive a stake in the business through stock options, allowing direct financial upside as AirGarage scales and transforms the parking real estate market.
  • • Comprehensive Health Coverage: AirGarage covers 85% of medical, dental, and vision plan costs for the primary employee and 50% for dependents, ensuring accessible, high-quality healthcare.
  • • Generous Parental Leave: 12 weeks of fully paid parental leave available to all parents, flexible for continuous or intermittent use within the first 18 months of a child’s life.
  • • Remote Work Flexibility: Live and work anywhere within North America with a remote-first policy, supported by a home office stipend for laptop and essential equipment.
  • • Unlimited PTO with Minimum: Unlimited vacation policy with a minimum of 10 days per year encouraged, plus ~2 annual week-long team offsites in destinations like Tahoe, Puerto Vallarta, and Austin.
  • • 401(k) Retirement Plan: Access to a 401k retirement savings program to support long-term financial planning and security.
  • • Learning & Culture: Participation in optional BookGarage book club and access to a culture of continuous growth, diversity (40% female, 30%+ underrepresented), and inclusion.
  • • Career Growth Opportunity: As a foundational team member, clear path to scale with the company as it grows orders of magnitude in size over the next few years.
  • • Meaningful Impact: Direct contribution to transforming how cities use real estate by making parking intelligent, efficient, and owner-transparent through cutting-edge technology.
