- • As an Onboarding Project Manager at Block, Inc., you will lead the technical onboarding and activation of new merchants, ensuring they fully realize the value of Square’s products and services. This role is pivotal to Square’s upmarket growth strategy and shaping the enterprise seller experience from initial solution design through activation.
- • Day to day, you will engage with sellers pre-sale to support discovery, scoping, planning, and solution validation; advise on and document Square’s product capabilities and limitations; own and manage multiple complex onboarding projects concurrently; build cross-functional partnerships with Sales, Account Management, Customer Success, Product, Marketing, and Engineering teams; collaborate with technical partners to communicate requirements; proactively identify and manage risks; support data entry and migration; maintain deep expertise in Square’s platform; act as a liaison between sellers and Product teams; demonstrate professionalism under deadlines; mentor junior team members; identify process gaps and drive improvements using AI-powered automation; and travel up to 10% for client meetings, hardware installations, and internal events.
- • The Global Seller Onboarding (GSO) team partners directly with Square’s largest and most complex sellers to ensure they fully realize the value of Square’s products and services. Block, Inc. (which includes Square, Cash App, Afterpay, TIDAL, Bitkey, and Proto) builds technology to increase access to the global economy, helping sellers of all sizes—from startups to enterprise-scale businesses—sell online, manage inventory, offer buy now, pay later, book appointments, engage loyal buyers, hire and pay staff, and access financial services tools at the point of sale.
