- • As an Operational Risk Management Lead at Humana Inc., you will play a key role in advancing the company’s mission to put health first by strengthening operational risk practices, enhancing processes, and enabling data-driven decision-making across the organization.
- • You will partner with stakeholders across business teams, Enterprise Risk, Regulatory Compliance, and Internal Audit to proactively identify risks, improve controls, and drive operational excellence through risk assessments, remediation efforts, and enterprise framework support.
- • You will report to the Associate Director, Risk Management and be part of the Operational Risk Management team, working remotely nationwide with occasional collaboration opportunities in Louisville, Kentucky.
- • In this role, you will develop strategic thinking and hands-on execution skills while delivering meaningful outcomes that support compliance, efficiency, and improved member and provider experiences, with opportunities to mentor teams and foster continuous learning.
🎯 Requirements
- • Bachelor’s degree in business, Finance, Technology or related field
- • 5+ years of experience in risk management, audit, or compliance
- • 5+ years of experience applying operational risk management principles, frameworks, and industry standards (e.g., COSO, ISO 31000) within complex organizational environments
- • 4+ years of progressive experience utilizing and optimizing risk management tools and systems, including risk registers, risk assessments, and enterprise risk reporting platforms
- • 5+ years of experience leading the analysis of complex operational risk issues and designing, implementing, and overseeing mitigation strategies with measurable business impact
