- • Operational Security Engineer role focused on strengthening security of people, devices, identities, and business operations within a global FinTech organization.
- • Day-to-day responsibilities include operating and improving enterprise security platforms, managing IAM and access controls, maintaining MDM/EDR capabilities, reviewing third-party tools and integrations, driving security awareness programs, monitoring emerging threats, applying adversarial thinking and threat modeling, and helping define security policies and baselines.
- • Part of Rootstock Labs Ltd, a company building Bitcoin-secured DeFi infrastructure for financial institutions, operating at the intersection of crypto infrastructure and institutional finance with a global, diverse team.
- • Opportunity to gain hands-on experience in enterprise security operations, threat-informed defense, identity and endpoint security, incident response, and security program development while working with cutting-edge blockchain technology and cross-functional teams including Productivity & AI Engineering, Cloud Security, and Application Security.
🎯 Requirements
- • Fluency in English
- • Strong hands-on experience securing and operating enterprise SaaS and cloud platforms, including identity and access management, contextual access controls, and secure administration of business-critical systems
- • Experience operating MDM/EDR and other endpoint security controls
- • Experience responding to security incidents, compromises, and breaches, with advanced cybersecurity exposure to sophisticated threat actors and ability to apply an adversarial mindset
- • Experience conducting practical threat modeling with real operational impact
- • Experience assessing the security of third-party tools, integrations, and emerging technologies introduced into the business
