- • As the second operator at Paragon Application Systems, Inc., you will partner with the Head of Strategy & Operations to extend and refine the company’s operational foundation, gaining line-of-sight into every function including people, legal, finance, compliance, recruiting, vendors, and IT.
- • Your day-to-day responsibilities include managing employee onboarding and offboarding, payroll and benefits accuracy, compliance workflows, vendor renewals and contract routing, recruiting support, finance operations like expense tracking and reimbursements, office logistics, and leadership meeting support—all while identifying and building automations to improve repetitive tasks.
- • You’ll work closely with the Head of Operations as a design partner to turn recurring operational work into scalable systems, using tools like Zapier, n8n, or custom scripts to create agents and automations that reduce manual effort.
- • Within twelve months, you will develop deep operational expertise, improve cross-functional processes, and gain visibility into how a high-growth, AI-native company runs—positioning you to drive systemic improvements while mastering the details that keep operations running smoothly.
🎯 Requirements
- • 1-3 years of operations / HR coordinator / EA / BizOps experience at a startup
- • Hands-on PEO or EOR experience (Deel, Rippling, Justworks, or similar)
- • Experience with at least one compliance platform (Secureframe, Vanta, Drata, or similar)
- • Daily use of Claude / ChatGPT / Cursor and experience shipping at least one automation (Zapier, n8n, Make, Apps Script, or custom script)
- • Experience writing SOPs, runbooks, or process docs that others have used
- • Fluency with standard SaaS ops stack (HRIS, ATS, expense cards, MDM, e-signature, knowledge tools) and willingness to learn new tools
