- • Rwazi Inc. is seeking a highly motivated and results-oriented Operations Lead to join our dynamic, global team. This is a full-time, remote position reporting directly to the Head of Operations. At Rwazi, our sophisticated data engine powers both Retail Mapping (RM) and Consumer Insights (CI) deployments across a diverse array of countries, time zones, and extensive contributor networks. The Operations Lead is the linchpin of our daily execution reliability, ensuring that all active logs are managed with precision and efficiency from their inception through to final fulfillment.
- • This role is not about passive monitoring or administrative coordination; it's about actively commanding execution under live, often high-pressure, conditions. You will be the primary owner of day-to-day operational execution, ensuring that our deployments move predictably and meet stringent targets. Your core mission will be to maintain and enhance the reliability of our data engine by controlling key operational levers such as activation velocity, quality assurance (QA) throughput, escalation logic, and contingency routing.
- • You will be directly responsible for achieving critical log fulfillment targets precisely on time, without any compromise on maintaining established quality thresholds. A significant part of your role will involve managing and optimizing contributor throughput across various cities, ensuring we have the right resources in place at the right time. Proactive risk detection is paramount; you will be tasked with identifying early execution risk signals and escalating structural issues before they have a chance to compound and impact overall operations.
- • Your responsibilities extend to overseeing active RM and CI deployments across multiple regions. You will meticulously ensure that daily progress consistently aligns with forecasted completion timelines. When velocity drops below acceptable thresholds, you are expected to intervene immediately and decisively to bring operations back on track. This requires a deep understanding of operational dynamics and the ability to make swift, informed decisions.
- • A key area of focus will be contributor throughput and activation. You will continuously monitor activation rates on a per-city and per-log basis. This involves coordinating reactivation efforts and implementing surge capacity strategies when necessary to meet demand. Furthermore, you will play a crucial role in optimizing payout structures, ensuring they remain within defined economic guardrails while incentivizing contributor performance.
- • Maintaining the integrity and quality of our data is non-negotiable. You will monitor first-pass approval rates closely and collaborate with QA leads to swiftly resolve any spikes in rejections. Ensuring that redeployment logic is executed efficiently is also a critical function, minimizing rework and maximizing resource utilization.
- • When supply gaps emerge, you will be responsible for implementing contingency routing plans (Plan B/C). This includes reallocating contributors across regions where feasible and maintaining robust redundancy in our execution pathways to ensure continuous operation.
- • To support these critical functions, you will maintain daily execution dashboards, providing real-time visibility into operational performance. You will be adept at surfacing early warning indicators to proactively address potential issues. Structured, regular updates to the Director of Operations will be a key part of your communication responsibilities.
- • The impact of strong performance in this role is significant and directly influences Rwazi’s delivery reliability and margin stability. You will contribute to predictable log completion, a reduction in last-minute escalations, higher first-pass QA rates, lower redeployment percentages, and fewer cost overruns. This is an outcome-accountable execution role that demands rapid judgment, structured thinking, and unwavering ownership under pressure. 🎯 Requirements
- • 5–8+ years in operational leadership or distributed workforce management, with a proven track record of success.
- • Experience managing gig, marketplace, or field execution systems, demonstrating an understanding of complex operational dynamics.
- • Strong quantitative reasoning skills, including proficiency in tracking rates, ratios, and throughput, with the ability to interpret data to drive operational decisions.
- • Demonstrated ability to operate calmly and effectively in high-friction, time-sensitive environments, making sound judgments under pressure.
- • Clear decision-making capabilities, even when faced with incomplete information, coupled with a bias toward action and structured intervention.
