📋 Description

• The Operations Specialist (Corporate Actions) is an entry-level role responsible for supporting the accurate and timely processing of corporate action events.
• This includes the identification, notification, and processing of voluntary and mandatory corporate actions such as dividends, mergers, stock splits, spin-offs, and tender offers.
• The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, eager to learn, and comfortable working in a fast-paced financial services environment.
• Key responsibilities include corporate actions processing, notification and communication, reconciliation, election processing, entitlement calculations, compliance and controls, issue resolution, and reporting.
• The role requires a bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, economics, business, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
• 0–2 years of relevant experience in financial services is preferred, with internship experience in operations, corporate actions, or securities processing being a plus.
• Basic understanding of financial markets and common types of securities (equities, fixed income, mutual funds) is required.
• Familiarity with the corporate actions lifecycle is a plus but not required; training will be provided.
• The role will work in a nightshift schedule following Central Time Zone and can work remotely with a strong and stable internet connection.
