📋 Description
- • Operations Specialist role leading grocery and retail site operations in Dubai, driving performance and managing field teams to deliver exceptional results across the UAE.
- • Day-to-day responsibilities include overseeing multiple grocery sites, mentoring associates, conducting performance reviews, analyzing KPIs like B10s and picking accuracy, performing operational audits, managing stakeholder relationships, and consolidating insights for business reviews.
- • Part of Deliveroo’s Commercial team focused on shaping marketplace strategy for restaurants, grocers, and new verticals, now operating as part of DoorDash with global collaboration opportunities.
- • Opportunity to develop leadership, analytical, and stakeholder management skills while making visible impact on customer, partner, and rider experiences in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.
🎯 Requirements
- • 3–4 years of experience in grocery, retail, or last-mile operations with proven multi-site team leadership
- • Strong understanding of grocery metrics (B10s, IUNS, rejections) and ability to interpret dashboards to drive operational improvements
- • Excellent communication skills to manage relationships with on-ground staff and senior leadership
- • Proficiency in mobile/tablet applications and operational reporting tools for live performance tracking
- • Valid UAE driving licence and personal transport for field-based responsibilities
