đź“‹ Description
- • As an Operations Strategist at Conductor AI Inc., you will serve as a critical bridge between company operations and program management, acting as the first responder during crises and a process architect during stable periods, directly enabling the company to scale efficiently while maintaining high standards of compliance and culture.
- • You will own multiple concurrent workstreams in partnership with founders and team members, including planning, operational execution, and stakeholder communications, using lightweight frameworks that allow rapid iteration without bureaucratic overhead, ensuring that strategic initiatives move forward with clarity and speed.
- • Your day-to-day responsibilities will include maintaining a broad, accurate state across all projects you touch, proactively identifying risks and surfacing blockers, and driving prioritization decisions in close collaboration with internal, customer, and technical partners to prevent delays and misalignment.
- • You will act as surge support during operational demand spikes, stepping in wherever the team needs the most support—whether that’s troubleshooting a system failure, coordinating a last-minute client deliverable, or filling gaps in team capacity.
- • In company operations, you will work closely with leadership to identify and address challenges related to hiring, communication, program management, tool use, and security, developing scalable plans that help the company grow without sacrificing agility or compliance.
- • You will partner with the COO to maintain company spaces, manage vendors, plan off-sites, develop company policies, and foster a culture of collaboration and positivity, ensuring that the physical and procedural environment supports peak team performance.
- • You will build and continuously refine scalable processes for onboarding, security, training, and required reporting, enabling the business to scale rapidly while maintaining regulatory adherence and operational speed.
- • You will craft and implement process improvements that reduce friction and free up teammates to focus on their highest-value work, directly increasing productivity and morale across teams.
- • You will partner with internal, legal, and government teams on security-related contract preparation, submissions, and compliance tracking, identifying and managing internal and external experts and vendor engagements to meet evolving security requirements.
- • You will engage substantively with internal company engineers to understand technical trade-offs, timing implications, and risk profiles of proposed changes, ensuring that operational decisions are technically sound and aligned with engineering capacity.
- • You will develop a robust understanding of how AI can automate and augment processes, cultivating an “AI-first” mentality for any new task, and proactively develop technical context on any team or project you support—regardless of domain—so you can contribute meaningfully from day one.
- • You will leverage your experience in fast-paced, venture-backed startup environments to build lightweight, adaptive processes that respond quickly to new information or shifting priorities, using tools like LLMs, Linear, Notion, and Google Workspace to drive efficiency.
- • You will draw on numerous examples of your past contributions that led to meaningful growth—such as new revenue streams, accelerated hiring, process reduction, or cultural strengthening—to inform your approach and demonstrate impact.
- • You will build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders across engineering, product, customer, legal, and government teams, serving as a trusted thought partner and communication hub.
- • You will have the opportunity to define your role over time as the company grows, shaping the function of operations strategy in a way that reflects your strengths and the evolving needs of the organization.
