- • As an Operations Generalist at Resend Inc., you will serve as a key connective tissue across the organization, ensuring seamless operations as the company scales from 40 team members across 11 countries. Your work will directly impact internal efficiency, employee experience, and vendor reliability, making you essential to sustaining momentum in a fast-growing, remote-first startup.
- • Day to day, you will document and automate internal processes, manage travel logistics and expense workflows, oversee vendor relationships and procurement, coordinate cross-functional projects without clear ownership, plan and execute company events including offsites and Resend Conf, and handle administrative tasks such as contracts, shipments, and onboarding logistics.
- • You will join a lean, high-trust team of 40 spread across 11 countries, reporting directly to the Chief of Staff. Resend is a remote-first company backed by a16z and Y Combinator, building a modern email platform for developers with a strong emphasis on quality, craft, and developer experience. The culture values low ego, initiative, and clarity in ambiguity.
- • In this role, you will develop end-to-end ownership of operational workflows, gain exposure to founder-level decision-making, refine your ability to simplify complex systems, and build expertise in scaling operations in a distributed environment. You’ll have the opportunity to shape how work gets done as the company grows.
🎯 Requirements
- • Proven experience managing events end-to-end, including logistics, budgeting, and stakeholder coordination
- • Demonstrated ability to manage external stakeholders such as vendors, contractors, and service providers
- • Strong innate ability to simplify complexity and create order from ambiguous or chaotic situations
- • Background in operations, finance, or event planning with a bias for action and meticulous attention to detail
