📋 Description

  • • Are you a seasoned Oracle HCM professional with a keen eye for detail and a passion for optimizing human capital management processes? ESS Inc. is seeking a dynamic and results-oriented Oracle Cloud HCM Payroll Consultant to join our growing team. In this critical role, you will be instrumental in designing, configuring, and implementing robust Oracle HCM Payroll solutions that meet the unique needs of our clients. You will leverage your deep understanding of payroll regulations, best practices, and Oracle's powerful HCM suite to deliver exceptional outcomes.
  • • As an Oracle Cloud HCM Payroll Consultant, you will be at the forefront of transforming how organizations manage their most valuable asset: their people. Your responsibilities will span the entire project lifecycle, from initial client discovery and requirements gathering to solution design, configuration, testing, deployment, and post-implementation support. You will work closely with clients to understand their current payroll processes, identify areas for improvement, and translate those needs into effective Oracle HCM configurations.
  • • A significant part of your role will involve collaborating with cross-functional teams, including project managers, technical consultants, and client stakeholders, to ensure seamless integration of the payroll module with other HCM components and enterprise systems. You will be expected to provide expert guidance on Oracle HCM Payroll best practices, ensuring compliance with relevant legislation and company policies.
  • • Key responsibilities include analyzing complex business requirements and mapping them precisely to Oracle HCM functionalities, ensuring that the implemented solutions are efficient, scalable, and aligned with client objectives. You will lead the configuration and customization of Oracle HCM Payroll modules, meticulously setting up pay groups, pay rules, tax details, garnishments, and other critical elements.
  • • Furthermore, you will be responsible for developing comprehensive test plans, executing thorough testing scenarios, and conducting quality assurance to guarantee the accuracy, reliability, and performance of the payroll system. This includes validating calculations, deductions, and reporting outputs.
  • • You will also play a vital role in user adoption by developing and delivering effective training sessions for end-users and system administrators, empowering them to leverage the full capabilities of the Oracle HCM Payroll solution. Troubleshooting and resolving system issues, providing ongoing support, and identifying opportunities for system enhancements will be integral to maintaining client satisfaction.
  • • Staying abreast of the latest Oracle HCM product updates, new features, and emerging trends in payroll technology and legislation is crucial. This continuous learning will enable you to proactively recommend and implement enhancements that keep our clients at the cutting edge of HCM innovation.
  • • This is a remote position, offering flexibility while requiring approximately 40% travel to support our Herndon, VA and San Diego, CA based teams. You will have the opportunity to work with diverse clients and contribute to impactful projects that shape the future of workforce management.
  • • We are looking for a proactive individual who can think critically, solve problems independently, and adapt to a fast-paced consulting environment. Your strong communication skills will be essential in explaining complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences, fostering clear understanding and collaboration throughout project engagements.
  • • This role offers a unique opportunity to deepen your expertise in Oracle HCM Payroll, contribute to significant client success stories, and grow your career within a supportive and forward-thinking organization. If you are driven by a desire to deliver excellence in HCM solutions and thrive in a client-facing consulting capacity, we encourage you to apply.
