- • The Order Entry Consultant 3 role is critical to ensuring accurate and efficient processing of purchase orders, directly supporting customer satisfaction and operational excellence within Allegion’s security solutions business.
- • Day-to-day responsibilities include entering new purchase orders, reviewing orders for accuracy, contacting customers to resolve discrepancies, documenting interactions, and training junior team members on systems and processes.
- • The role is part of Allegion’s Sales Department, supporting the DCI brand—a premier hollow metal door and frame manufacturer—with close collaboration across operations, purchasing, quality, and other internal teams to drive continuous improvement in order entry quality and efficiency.
- • This position offers the opportunity to develop leadership and training skills, deepen expertise in the hollow metal industry, and contribute to process optimization while working remotely with occasional on-site needs, fostering professional growth in a stable, award-winning organization.
🎯 Requirements
- • High School Diploma or GED required (Associates or Bachelor level degree preferred)
- • 7+ years of inside sales experience in a business-to-business (B2B) sales environment
- • Required knowledge of Hollow Metal industry customers, products, and market
- • Strongly developed specialist knowledge of products, suppliers, customers, and market competition
- • Demonstrated ability to establish, maintain, and teach a training regime
- • Strong Microsoft Office skills and excellent verbal and written communication/listening skills
- • High integrity and commitment to customer satisfaction, with skills in negotiations, communications, and customer support
- • Strong decision-making, analytical abilities, and detail orientation
- • Ability to collaborate cross-functionally and work in a fast-paced team environment
