We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Organic Marketing Lead to spearhead our content strategy and execution, ensuring Flux becomes the indispensable resource for hardware engineers.
• As the Organic Marketing Lead, you will be instrumental in developing and executing a comprehensive content strategy that resonates deeply with our target audience of hardware engineers. This involves owning and driving our Search Engine Optimization (SEO) and AI Engine Optimization (AEO) efforts to ensure Flux ranks prominently for critical search queries and is recognized by AI search surfaces for hardware design topics. You will manage the editorial content calendar, setting an exceptionally high bar for quality and ensuring every piece of content serves a defined purpose before publication. This includes overseeing a team of talented writers, fostering a collaborative environment, and maintaining rigorous editorial standards.
• A significant part of your role will be dedicated to developing compelling case studies that highlight real customer successes, showcasing tangible projects and measurable outcomes. These case studies will serve as powerful testimonials, demonstrating the value and impact of Flux's innovative solutions. You will also be responsible for identifying and executing strategic event participation, including industry conferences, local meetups, informative webinars, and community partnerships, to engage directly with hardware engineers wherever they congregate.
• Furthermore, you will cultivate an authentic organic social media presence and actively participate in relevant online communities. The goal is to position Flux as a genuine and valuable member of the hardware engineering ecosystem, rather than just a corporate brand. This involves contributing meaningfully to discussions, sharing insights, and building relationships within communities such as Hackaday, EEVblog, and various Reddit forums, fostering trust and credibility.
• This role offers a unique opportunity to shape the narrative around a groundbreaking technology and to become a pivotal figure in making advanced hardware design accessible to a wider audience. You will have the autonomy to innovate and implement cutting-edge organic marketing strategies, directly impacting Flux's growth and market leadership. The success of this role will be measured by Flux's increased visibility, engagement, and ultimately, its adoption by hardware engineers worldwide.
• The ideal candidate will possess a profound understanding of the hardware engineering community, including PCB designers, hardware founders, firmware engineers, and mechanical engineers. 🎯 Requirements

• Deep expertise in SEO and AEO, encompassing not only keyword research but also a thorough understanding of crawlability, indexation, structured data, and how Large Language Models (LLMs) reference and utilize content.
• Proven experience in editorial leadership, including managing writers, establishing and enforcing editorial standards, and successfully maintaining a content calendar under real-world constraints.
• Strong empathy for the Ideal Customer Profile (ICP), specifically hardware engineers, PCB designers, hardware founders, firmware engineers, and mechanical engineers, with the ability to create content they will find genuinely valuable and accurate.
• Fluency in utilizing analytics tools such as AHREFS, Google Search Console, and attribution tooling to measure content performance, distinguishing between vanity metrics like pageviews and impactful metrics like trial sign-ups.
• Demonstrated ability to establish an authentic community presence within hardware engineering circles (e.g., Hackaday, EEVblog, Reddit) without appearing as a purely promotional brand account.
