- • Own the top-of-funnel for one of the fastest-growing segments in Remote’s Global HR Platform, focusing on companies headquartered or hiring across Mainland China, Hong Kong, Macau, and Taiwan. You will be the first human touchpoint for hundreds of prospects every month, translating inbound interest into qualified pipeline for our Account Executives.
- • Master Remote’s entire product suite—Employer of Record, Contractor Management, Remote Payroll, Remote Talent, and Remote Relocation—so you can confidently articulate how we remove the complexity of hiring, paying, and retaining talent anywhere in the world.
- • Run a disciplined, data-driven outbound motion: craft hyper-personalised sequences on email, LinkedIn, WeChat, and phone; test messaging angles daily; and iterate based on open-rate, reply-rate, and meeting-booked metrics visible in real time on our Outreach & Salesforce dashboards.
- • Partner closely with Marketing to localise campaigns for Greater China. You will translate landing pages, one-pagers, and webinar decks into Simplified Chinese and Traditional Chinese, ensuring cultural nuance and compliance language resonate with HR leaders, CFOs, and founders.
- • Qualify opportunities using MEDDICC and BANT frameworks. You will run discovery calls in Mandarin and English, uncover pain points around entity set-up, IP protection, and cross-border payroll, and then map those pains to Remote’s value pillars: speed, compliance, and transparency.
- • Build and maintain a 3× pipeline coverage every quarter. You will forecast accurately, update Salesforce religiously, and present weekly pipeline health to Sales Leadership in concise Loom videos or live Gong snippets.
- • Collaborate with Solutions Engineers to deliver tailored demos that showcase Remote’s China-specific features—e.g., automatic IIT (Individual Income Tax) calculations, social-insurance contributions in 300+ cities, and SAFEA work-permit workflows—so prospects leave calls saying, “I didn’t know this could be so simple.”
- • Champion our Fair Price Guarantee: when prospects compare us to legacy providers or local PEOs, you will transparently break down cost structures, showing how Remote eliminates hidden FX spreads, onboarding fees, and termination penalties.
- • Contribute to the global Sales Playbook by capturing objection-handling tactics that work uniquely in Greater China—e.g., “Will my IP be safe if I don’t own a local entity?”—and publishing them in Notion for peers in EMEA and LATAM to leverage.
- • Mentor the next wave of SDRs. Once you hit 120% of quota for two consecutive quarters, you will run weekly shadow sessions and mock-call clinics, accelerating ramp-up time from 6 weeks to 4 weeks.
- • Live our asynchronous culture. You will document every experiment, every lost deal, and every creative hack in Slack threads and loom videos so teammates in opposite time zones can learn without scheduling another meeting.
- • Celebrate wins loudly. Whether it’s booking a unicorn start-up or reviving a dormant Fortune 500 account, you will ring the (virtual) gong in #sales-wins and share the exact email thread that opened the door.
🎯 Requirements
- • Native or near-native fluency in Mandarin (Simplified & Traditional) and professional working proficiency in English; ability to conduct cold calls and product demos in both languages.
- • 1–3 years of outbound SDR/BDR experience in SaaS, HR tech, fintech, or cloud infrastructure with a track record of exceeding pipeline-generation targets.
- • Demonstrated ability to navigate China-specific compliance topics such as IIT, social insurance, SAFEA work permits, and cross-border data transfer (PIPL).
- • Comfortable using Salesforce, Outreach, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, Gong, and Excel/Google Sheets; SQL or BI tool exposure is a plus.
