Full Job Description
📋 Description
- • Directive Consulting is at the forefront of performance marketing for SaaS and Tech companies, pioneering a unique methodology called Customer Generation. This approach prioritizes tangible business outcomes like Sales Qualified Leads (SQLs) and actual Customers over traditional, less impactful metrics such as Marketing Qualified Leads (MQLs). Our comprehensive suite of services, including Paid Media, SEO/Content, CRO, and Video, is meticulously designed to craft bespoke digital marketing strategies that consistently enable our clients to achieve their SQL targets.
- • As we continue our trajectory of growth, Directive is actively seeking forward-thinking, analytical professionals who are passionate about developing high-impact strategies, enhancing search visibility, creating compelling content, and delivering measurable value to target audiences. We are particularly interested in individuals who thrive in dynamic, fast-paced environments and are driven to make a significant mark within the B2B tech and SaaS marketing landscape.
- • The Paid Media Lead role, internally designated as Senior Account Strategist, Paid Media, is a pivotal, client-facing position. This role is instrumental in managing the day-to-day deliverables for a portfolio of clients, conceptualizing and executing customized paid media strategies, and ensuring seamless communication between clients and internal teams regarding the execution of paid media initiatives. This is an exceptional opportunity to gain extensive experience in developing and managing high-performing paid media strategies for enterprise-level SaaS businesses.
- • Key responsibilities include overseeing and leading a dedicated collection of Paid Media accounts, serving as the primary point of contact and direct support for client stakeholders. You will be responsible for fostering strong client relationships that drive referrals and contribute to business growth through your professional network.
- • A core function of this role involves the strategic development of client-focused paid media plans on a quarterly basis. This includes the ability to meticulously create, maintain, and optimize budgets across a diverse range of paid media channels, ensuring maximum return on investment.
- • You will be expected to develop a deep and nuanced understanding of each client's unique market positioning, their competitive landscape, and their distinct value propositions. This understanding will inform all strategic decisions and campaign executions.
- • Ensuring the accuracy of lead routing within client CRMs is a critical operational task, directly impacting the sales funnel and client success metrics.
- • A solid grasp of the value and application of Programmatic campaigns within a broader paid media strategy is essential.
- • You will be accountable for your personal productivity and utilization, ensuring efficient time management and contribution to team goals.
- • Close collaboration with the Associate Director is required to ensure that both internal departmental objectives and client-specific goals are consistently met and exceeded.
- • This role demands hands-on execution and continuous optimization of PPC advertising campaigns across multiple platforms, including but not limited to Google Ads, Facebook Ads, and LinkedIn Ads. The focus will be on meticulous keyword research, compelling ad copywriting, precise audience targeting, and ongoing performance analysis to maximize ROI and achieve client objectives.
- • Success in this role is defined by embodying Directive's core values in all interactions, effectively managing a portfolio of approximately five mid-tier and enterprise accounts, and consistently meeting or exceeding department-level Objectives and Key Results (OKRs), such as client growth and goal attainment.
- • Building robust client trust and fostering enduring relationships that lead to consistent contract renewals is paramount. Furthermore, identifying and cross-selling additional services that align with client goals and objectives will be a key measure of success.
- • The ability to clearly and effectively communicate campaign results, strategic insights, and performance data to client points of contact and executive leadership is crucial. Exceptional decision-making skills, particularly concerning the strategic direction of accounts, will be highly valued.
- • You will be expected to live on the cutting edge of the paid media industry, constantly seeking opportunities for professional growth and eager to share knowledge and best practices with the team. A quality-obsessed mindset, coupled with a genuine passion for advertising and driving results, is essential.
- • The role requires the ability to organize, prioritize, and manage multiple projects simultaneously in a dynamic agency environment. Travel to visit clients is anticipated approximately once per year, per client, or as needed, to foster stronger relationships and strategic alignment.
🎯 Requirements
- • Minimum of 3 years of experience working within a performance-focused digital marketing agency environment.
- • Proven experience working specifically with B2B SaaS/tech clients in an agency setting.
- • Deep expertise across paid search and paid social advertising campaigns, including Google Ads, Facebook Ads, LinkedIn Ads, and other relevant platforms.
- • Proficiency in utilizing key advertising platforms and tools such as Google Ads, Facebook Business Manager, and LinkedIn Campaign Manager.
- • Strong understanding of core PPC principles, including keyword research, ad copywriting, bid management, and campaign optimization techniques.
- • Ability to analyze campaign performance data using tools like Google Analytics, GA4, Excel, or other analytics platforms to make data-driven decisions and optimize campaign performance.
- • Proven and measurable success in managing mid-market or enterprise-level accounts.
- • A unique perspective and demonstrable ability to drive value specifically for SaaS clients.
- • Ability to translate and articulate complex strategies and tell compelling stories with data.
- • A blend of competitive drive and insatiable curiosity, embodying a true problem-solving spirit.
- • A commitment to staying at the forefront of the industry, continuously seeking opportunities for growth and knowledge sharing.
- • Excellent organizational, prioritization, and multitasking skills to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- • A quality-obsessed approach to work, maintaining a passion for advertising and delivering exceptional results.
- • Willingness to travel to visit clients approximately once per year, per client or as needed.
🏖️ Benefits
