đź“‹ Description

  • • As a Paid Media Strategist at Directive Consulting, you will be at the forefront of driving measurable growth for B2B SaaS and Tech clients, leveraging our proprietary Customer Generation methodology. This is a client-facing role where you'll be instrumental in developing, executing, and optimizing high-impact paid media campaigns across various digital channels. You will be responsible for the day-to-day management of a portfolio of client accounts, ensuring their success through strategic planning, meticulous execution, and insightful performance analysis. Your expertise will directly contribute to our clients achieving their critical SQL (Sales Qualified Lead) targets, moving beyond vanity metrics to focus on tangible business outcomes.
  • • You will serve as the primary point of contact for your assigned clients, building strong, trust-based relationships. This involves regular, proactive communication to understand their business objectives, challenges, and unique value propositions. Your ability to deeply understand their market positioning and translate that into effective paid media strategies will be key to fostering long-term partnerships and driving client retention.
  • • A significant part of your role will involve building and presenting comprehensive paid media strategies on a quarterly basis. This requires a forward-thinking approach, staying ahead of industry trends, and identifying opportunities to innovate and optimize. You will be expected to create, manage, and meticulously optimize budgets for paid media campaigns, ensuring maximum return on investment (ROI) and efficient allocation of resources across multiple platforms.
  • • You will gain invaluable experience in executing and optimizing PPC advertising campaigns across leading platforms such as Google Ads, Facebook Ads, and LinkedIn Ads. This includes conducting thorough keyword research, crafting compelling ad copy that resonates with target audiences, and implementing sophisticated audience targeting strategies. The ultimate goal is to maximize campaign performance and deliver exceptional results that align with client goals.
  • • Collaboration is central to our success at Directive. You will work closely with internal stakeholders, including Associate Directors, to ensure alignment on client objectives and the successful achievement of both internal and client goals. You will also liaise with external vendors and operational partners on a weekly basis, ensuring seamless execution, high-quality work, and identifying opportunities for continuous improvement in our collaborative processes.
  • • A critical aspect of this role is ensuring the accuracy of lead routing within client CRMs. You will need to understand the client's sales funnel and confirm that leads generated through paid media efforts are correctly captured and passed to the sales team for timely follow-up, thereby maximizing the conversion potential of our campaigns.
  • • You will develop a strong understanding of the value and application of Programmatic campaigns, recognizing how they can complement search and social efforts to create a more holistic and effective paid media strategy. This involves staying abreast of emerging technologies and best practices in programmatic advertising.
  • • Your personal productivity and utilization will be closely monitored, reflecting our commitment to efficiency and delivering value. You will be responsible for managing your workload effectively, prioritizing tasks, and ensuring timely delivery of all client deliverables.
  • • Success in this role is defined by your ability to build client trust and relationships that lead to consistent renewals. You will be expected to effectively manage approximately five mid-tier and enterprise accounts, meeting and exceeding department-level OKRs (Objectives and Key Results), such as client growth and goal attainment. Cross-selling additional services that align with client goals will also be a key indicator of success, demonstrating your strategic insight and commitment to client growth.
  • • You will be responsible for clearly communicating campaign results, insights, and strategic recommendations to client points of contact and executive leadership. This requires exceptional decision-making skills and the ability to articulate strategy and tell compelling stories with data, showcasing the impact of our work.
  • • As a remote-first organization, you will have the flexibility to work from anywhere in Canada. We foster a collaborative environment through virtual meetings and communication tools, requiring you to be proficient with technology and maintain a professional remote work setup. Your ability to remain stationary for extended periods, observe and interpret communication, and maintain reliable internet access are essential for success in this role.
