📋 Description

  • As a Paid Search Manager at FloSports, you will play a critical role in driving subscriber acquisition and reactivation through high-impact paid search campaigns that connect passionate sports fans with live and on-demand events across underserved sports verticals, directly contributing to the company’s mission of elevating underrepresented athletic communities.
  • You will own the end-to-end execution and optimization of SEM campaigns on Google Ads and Bing, ensuring precise targeting, timely delivery, and maximum ROI during peak sports events, while collaborating cross-functionally to align messaging with content and analytics teams for cohesive, data-driven performance.

  • In this role, you’ll deepen your expertise in advanced SEM tactics including AI-driven bidding, Performance Max campaigns, and first-party data integration, while gaining hands-on experience in subscription-based marketing, churn reduction, and reactivation strategies within the fast-growing sports streaming industry.
  • Your day-to-day responsibilities will include building, testing, and deploying paid search campaigns across Google Ads and Bing with accurate setup and targeting for major sports events; implementing and managing keyword lists and bidding strategies to optimize CPA and improve ROAS across all sports verticals; monitoring and addressing high-CPA campaigns through performance mitigation steps; tracking campaign attribution to identify data gaps and deliver actionable insights; optimizing real-time performance via dayparting and target controls to reduce CPA and improve ROI; executing A/B tests on ad copy and landing pages to recommend data-backed optimizations; coordinating with Content and Analytics teams to validate data and ensure cohesive messaging; staying current with paid search trends, AI opportunities, and sports streaming insights; providing timely inputs for the weekly business review (WBR) report; delivering ad hoc performance reports to support strategic decisions; and actively overseeing campaign performance during weekends and holidays to prevent premature budget exhaustion.

🎯 Requirements

  • 5+ years of hands-on experience in Paid Search (SEM) with proven expertise in building, launching, and optimizing campaigns in Google Ads and Bing
  • Deep understanding of keyword strategy, Quality Score, and core SEM metrics including CPA and ROAS, with ability to interpret data and adjust campaigns for improved engagement and conversions
  • Proficiency in analytics tools and Google Ads Editor for managing high-volume accounts, combined with strong organizational skills, meticulous documentation, and detail-oriented execution in fast-paced environments
  • Must be local to Austin, TX, or willing to relocate to join the onsite Performance Marketing team
