📋 Description

• Join Hire Hangar and work with fast-growing global companies while building a long-term, remote career as a Paralegal supporting attorneys across multiple practice areas in a fast-paced, remote law firm environment.
• Conduct legal research and prepare case summaries, memos, and briefs; draft, proofread, and format legal documents including pleadings, motions, contracts, and correspondence; manage and maintain case files; coordinate and calendar court dates, deadlines, depositions, and attorney schedules; communicate professionally with clients, courts, opposing counsel, and third parties; support attorneys in trial preparation; and track case progress while proactively flagging upcoming deadlines or missing documentation.
• Work with a remote-first team serving US and UK-based clients, collaborating across time zones using modern legal tech and communication platforms to deliver high-quality legal support.
• Develop expertise in multi-practice area law, refine legal drafting and research skills, gain experience with US legal systems and e-filing processes, and grow into a trusted legal support professional capable of managing complex caseloads independently.

🎯 Requirements

• Paralegal certificate or degree from an accredited institution, or equivalent hands-on experience in a law firm
• Minimum 2–3 years of paralegal experience in a general or multi-practice area law firm
• Strong legal research skills with proficiency in Westlaw, LexisNexis, or similar platforms
• Demonstrated experience drafting legal documents across varied practice areas
• Excellent written and verbal English communication skills with a professional, client-facing demeanor
• Ability to manage multiple cases and competing deadlines with accuracy and composure
• Must have prior remote work experience, be fluent with remote collaboration tools and platforms (such as Slack, Zoom, Google Workspace, Asana, or similar), and have ideally worked with US or UK-based law firms
