📋 Description

• Edit short-form video clips from Commerce is Chaos podcast episodes for distribution on LinkedIn, Instagram, and TikTok, ensuring punchy pacing and zero fluff
• Shoot in-person footage and B-roll of Samantha Rose at and around the office in San Clemente for use across social platforms
• Build and maintain a library of vertical video content optimized specifically for TikTok, Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, and LinkedIn video
• Support the content team in executing a consistent weekly social media cadence across all platforms
• Collaborate directly with the Head of Content remotely and work alongside Samantha Rose in person during weekly on-site hours
• Adapt editing style and visual storytelling to match the distinct voice and tone of Samantha Rose’s personal brand
• Ensure all video content adheres to platform-specific technical requirements and best practices for engagement
• Manage project timelines and deliverables to meet weekly content deadlines
• Contribute ideas for content formats and hooks that perform well on short-form video platforms
• Maintain organized media files and editing assets for efficient team workflow
• Participate in weekly planning and review sessions to align on content performance and upcoming topics
• Work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining high-quality output under tight deadlines
• Use professional editing software to color correct, add captions, apply transitions, and optimize audio for social platforms
• Capture clean, well-lit, and stable footage using available equipment during on-site shoots
• Stay current with trends in short-form video content and apply insights to improve engagement metrics
• Contribute to the growth of a growing audience by producing content that resonates with consumer brands and entrepreneurs
• Deliver polished, publish-ready videos that reflect the brand’s energetic, unfiltered, and authentic style

🎯 Requirements

• Must be within driving distance of San Clemente, CA
• Must be able to commit to weekly on-site hours in San Clemente
• Proficient in video editing software (e.g., Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve)
• Demonstrated ability to edit short-form video content with strong pacing and storytelling
• Deadline-oriented with experience following a content calendar
• Familiarity with TikTok, Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, and LinkedIn video formats
