- • As a Partner Development Manager, Financial Partnership Capabilities at Stripe, you will drive high-impact product partnership initiatives with card network partners like Visa, Mastercard, and American Express, directly enabling new capabilities such as agentic commerce and stablecoin pilots that expand Stripe’s product offerings and user value.
- • Day to day, you will develop partner requirements, negotiate commercial agreements, lead cross-functional coordination with Product, Engineering, Legal, Finance, and Risk teams, and represent Stripe at industry events to build strategic relationships and execute joint initiatives that shape the future of payments.
- • You will join Stripe’s Global Partnerships organization, specifically the Capabilities team, which plays a foundational role in shaping product strategy through strategic alliances with major financial institutions, supporting Stripe’s mission to increase the GDP of the internet.
- • In this role, you will deepen your expertise in global payments ecosystems, sharpen your strategic negotiation and influence skills at the executive level, and gain end-to-end ownership of complex, high-visibility partnerships that drive innovation and scalability for Stripe’s platform.
🎯 Requirements
- • 8+ years of experience in strategic partnerships, business development, corporate development, or a related field
- • 5+ years of experience related to payments or card networks
- • Thorough understanding of card network dynamics and business models
- • Broad and deep experience executing industry-wide partnership strategies to build innovative product experiences and go-to-market models
- • Experience working in product-centric environments with significant internal and external dependencies
- • Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to influence stakeholders internally and externally across functions, including at the C-level
