- • As a Partner Development Manager, Strategic Partnerships at Stripe, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the company’s product strategy by developing and managing high-impact relationships with large strategic partners that enable new capabilities for millions of users worldwide.
- • Day to day, you will evaluate and build business cases for new strategic partnerships across verticals such as AI, Platforms, and Payment Methods; lead negotiations and deal structuring; manage partnership lifecycles with clear milestones and KPIs; collaborate with product, engineering, marketing, and sales teams to execute initiatives; and cultivate relationships with senior executives at partner organizations to drive mutual value.
- • You will join Stripe’s Strategic Partnerships team, a cross-functional group focused on launching new products, expanding geographically, advocating for users, and influencing policy through high-leverage partnerships that directly impact Stripe’s growth and innovation.
- • In this role, you will develop expertise in complex partnership structuring, gain deep insight into Stripe’s financial infrastructure products, influence go-to-market strategy at scale, and drive foundational initiatives that expand Stripe’s global reach and product ecosystem.
🎯 Requirements
- • At least 10 years of partnerships experience with 5+ years of business development experience establishing partnerships with financial institutions, fintech, payment method providers, or equivalent strategic, complex partners
- • Strong agency, ability to handle ambiguity in a fast-moving organization, and thrive under high autonomy and responsibility
- • Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to influence internal and external stakeholders across diverse functions
- • Technical acumen to understand Stripe’s product portfolio and strategy, and apply that understanding to define partner requirements and evaluate opportunities
- • 5+ years experience defining and executing partnership strategies to build innovative product experiences
- • 5+ years experience negotiating commercial deals with top financial and technology institutions, including scaling such deals across multiple partners
