  • • As a Partner Sales Engineer at Ping Identity, you will be instrumental in bridging the gap between our cutting-edge identity management solutions and our valued partners. This role is crucial for enabling our partners to effectively leverage Ping Identity's platform, ensuring their success and, by extension, the success of their end customers. You will act as a technical evangelist and trusted advisor, translating complex technical concepts into tangible business value and driving the adoption of our solutions within the partner ecosystem. Your contributions will directly impact revenue generation by empowering our partners to deliver secure and seamless digital experiences to their clients, fostering innovation and digital freedom.
  • • In this dynamic role, your day-to-day responsibilities will encompass a wide range of pre-sales activities. You will conduct compelling solution demonstrations, tailored presentations, and insightful technical guidance sessions, showcasing the power and versatility of Ping Identity's offerings. A significant part of your role will involve leading proof-of-concept (POC) engagements, where you'll architect and implement solutions to address specific partner and customer challenges, proving the technical and business viability of our platform. You will also be responsible for crafting detailed and accurate responses to Requests for Proposals (RfPs) and Requests for Information (RfIs), ensuring that all technical and business requirements are thoroughly addressed. You will serve as the primary technical point of contact for partners, acting as their go-to expert on Ping Identity solutions and providing them with the knowledge and support they need to succeed. This involves building and nurturing enduring relationships, becoming a trusted advisor who understands their unique needs and can proactively offer solutions.
  • • You will collaborate closely with the sales team throughout the entire sales cycle, with a particular emphasis on the Qualification, Discovery, and Technical Proof phases. Your technical expertise will be vital in identifying opportunities, understanding customer pain points, and demonstrating how Ping Identity can solve them. Furthermore, you will play a key role in coordinating pre-sales efforts with the post-sales service delivery team, ensuring a smooth transition and successful implementation of solutions once a deal is closed. This cross-functional collaboration is essential for delivering a seamless customer experience and ensuring long-term satisfaction. You will lead customer-facing meetings, both remotely via videoconferencing and in-person, delivering presentations, facilitating whiteboarding sessions, and conducting demonstrations of Ping Identity solutions and their value proposition. Your ability to articulate technical details and business benefits clearly and concisely will be paramount. You will also provide invaluable feedback on product enhancements and emerging customer needs to our product owners, directly influencing the future development of our platform. To foster growth within the team, you will mentor junior team members, both formally and informally, sharing your knowledge and expertise. Developing subject matter expert-level knowledge in at least one of Ping Identity's core solutions is expected, allowing you to serve as a go-to expert resource for other Sales Engineers within the organization. Finally, you will be expected to travel between 15% and 40% of the time, predominantly within the UK, with occasional international travel as required.
